The DD26 Hot Foot is wayyyyy better than the competition. No suprise the other companies didn't want to send you theirs for testing and comparing. Losers! Lol

Would this mount work in conjunction with an ultrex that already has a 360 bracket and transducer installed? Curious. Nice, well designed unit for sur.

There is a 360 arm that connects to the same mounting bracket. Nice clean set up.

And I love the install videos!! Transducer install and leveling. Comparing graph mounts single, double, etc, etc.

Got the transom saver and the steering locks. Flawless. 2 years old with no issues

The mega live target lock seems to be the most advanced. It will lock on to a target it will pan with the trolling motor just like its on the shaft or you can move it separately.

With all the stuff being added to these trolling motors. What are your thoughts on the new heavy duty base for the ultrex?

Looks very well built. I remember when we were worried about cutting though the salad now with so many things on your trolling motor it’s beginning to look closer to a lunar rover more than a trolling motor. 😂 keep the great information coming Andy.

This is on my short list to add to my gator trax. I currently run a livescanner. The livescanner works great but it doesn't hold up in big water I run (Leech lake and Kansas wind covered lakes). The break away on the livescanner is a bit to loose for running big water also having a separate box under the deck is annoying. Hope to order soon and will be a nice addition to my DD26 transom saver and jackplate levers.

On that mount plate are you able to add on the 360 imaging shaft?

I have the motor toter bracket. Solid probably would never need another one in my Life as long Mercury doesn’t change anything.

Gotta love it when a company can't/wont even respond. One question. Is the weight of the entire package an issue with the mounts? I know I have seen other videos with guys having problems especially with the Minn Kotas where the bushings are wearing out and they either don't turn right or they start chattering. Great product from DD26! Enjoyed the video Andy.

The Live Foot is 7lbs total. Add 1lb for the dog bone and 8lbs total. Super light for what it is.

No one mentioned the Move trolling motor.

Well if we had to make a joke we would say that they cannot make a reliable v8 so why in the world would they make a v10 or a v12? Haha.....Honestly it's probably okay but it will suffer from the same QC gremlins that plague the other Mercury motors

Normally we are not big fans of flashing, especially if it's under warranty. If it's not under warranty Nizpro and HydroTec are great companies to go with

Do you guys have a good quality replacement carpet brand or supplier you could recommend. Cost no issue, I just would like a good premium carpet that would last. Thanks!

Compare apples to apples price point is a far stretch way over priced 400 to 450 in material at best

No doubt it’s the best. But it should be for $1,500. The competition is $650, half the price. The question is not is it better. The question is it $900 better.

...or the other products are junk and the other manufacturers know it! We want people to spend their hard earned money on quality products. The days where companies can just skate by pawning made in china crap off on consumers is over!
