Have any suggestions for a Magsafe equipped alternative to Samsung's Note 9 Protective Standing case? I'd like to add the benefits of magsafe without compromising on the functionality/safety of my Note 9 in its protective standing case (which also works with my wireless chargers).

I have the Samsung Galaxy M31 which does not have wireless charging but I was considering getting this for other use cases. Would this fit an M31?

Does Magsafe cases and accessories have an impact on the internals of a phone assuming you are keeping your phone for 3 - 4 years?

I've had a ring on my S23 Ultra for nearly with no issues. Plus, from an engineering standpoint, I can't think of anything that would negatively impact the internals of the phone :)

Been wanting to try one of these, particularly for car charging. However i have a Galaxy Fold and am not sure how the extra weight would hold up and how secure it would be.

I read a couple of reviews, but none mentioned that particular use. Otherwise, the Fold5 people like it, and the Fold4 person said the ring needed a slight modification. My biggest concern is alignment.

As long as you give it time to fully adhere to the phone or case, it should hold the Fold 5 without issue. Just make sure you align the magnet properly. If you have wireless charging earbuds or a galaxy watch, you can use wireless power share to help figure out where the center of the magnet is. The galaxy watch will even tell you when you're not perfectly centered.

one thing i gotta know. you have the ring stuck onto the phone without a case in the video. you also show this ring on a phone case on, what im assuming, the same phone. do you have two on the back? one on the back and one on the case? does have any bad effects if so?

You should include a magbak case+ wallet as must have accesory

I have heared that if you attach something on the MagSafe Case or ring on the S24 Ultra, the S-Pen won't work. Is that true with the ESR MagSafe Ring?

I've seen people report the same issue at Samsung Members which is why I'm not using magsafe cases/accessories.

Does that damage phone putting it right on it instead of the case ?

Nope, it's just an adhesive that cleans off very easily if you ever remove the ring :)

can you charge wirelessly with non magsafe chargers with the ring on?

Can you make a video demonstrating the s pen compatibility? I thought you would have done so in this video. I'm pretty wary of any magsafe thing as they all seem to mess with the s pen in pretty major ways

They've been around for nearly 20 years and they're about ten bucks. A branded MagSafe one is probably way overpriced.

Why not buy a Pitaka case instead?

I just don't like the heat Magsafe Cases cause when on my S24 Ultra. It gets super hot & everyone in Samsung Members say the same.. I only wireless charge & dagum I wish it wouldn't get so 🔥

but the spen doesnt work with magnets on the back 😢

The ring doesn't affect the S-Pen, because it is not magnetic. The magnet is in the magsafe device. With a Magsafe device like a powerbank or a ring holder attached, the pen doesn't work.

Course it does I use MagSafe cases on my Galaxy phones for the last 4 years. Pitaka has built-in magnets it's fantastic and there's other cases like Benks magclap etc.... you don't have to buy a metal ring you can just get a case that has it built-in much better. Mous cases if you're looking for something with more protection the list goes on

I use spigen hybrid case with magsafe ring on the S24U and I have a magnetic popsocket attached. S Pen works flawlessly.🤔

I'm not sure why most these youtubers never mention that if you use any of these magnetic accessories on the samsung S series. You will have problems with your S pen. It will lag and not function well.

ESR makes some great magsafe cases too, but currently, all magsafe cases, including the ones from Torras, interfere with the S Pen. The ring is the only solution I found that lets you use the S Pen. :)
