I have one VERY similar to this except the back table is a sticker and slightly different. Very handy quick tester, one of those great cheap purchases that stay handy over time.
I have this same tester very reliable. It you test lithium AA needle goes even farther on mine.
I have this exact same version. Have had it maybe 10 years now and we still use it on a semi regular basis. Its been great for sorting the junk from the spunk and diagnosing dead remotes that actually didnt just have a dead battery. 15/10, id say its a must have for the draw of useful sht 😅
Is it just a voltmeter, or does it load test?

It's not just a voltmeter, it loads the battery. you can make it even better by adding a potentiometer inside and calibrating it to your needs.
