Making a 6th series without Tom is a big mistake. He's been the nuts and bolts of Love/Hate since the beginning and with Nidge now killed off I think it's best to end the show. Nidge was lucky to survive in the past series and we knew he would eventually meet his maker and now that he has I think it's best for Love/Hate to call it a day. Love/Hate without Nidge would be like a James Bond film without 007. Completely pointless

It has been confirmed by RTE that Nidge was killed off because Tom wants to concentrate on other projects

Emmet JMC I reckon Tommy's going to wake up and it's all been a mad dream after a massive dose of LSD. Darren and Nidge are going to be back!!!.....Here's hoping. I fully agree with you Emmet, pointless without Nidge.
