You Must Never Let Up In the Spiritual Battle for Your Marriage!

"No matter how DEEPLY you have been Wounded by someone that you trusted, it never has to DESTROY your life.
God will never allow another person to RUIN your life.
But God will allow YOU to ruin your life
because He gave you a free will."
-DOMINIC HERBST, Founder of Restoring Relationships
From the most tender young age we all experience hurt, betrayal, or offense through relationship with someone we loved or someone we expected more from. Our response to these offenses at the time they occur will determine whether or not these wounds heal or become infected.
Restoring Relationships is a ministry dedicated to helping you find freedom of heart and soul by taking you on your own personal journey through Calvary.
Isn’t it time that everything changed? You don’t have to keep "waiting on God."
Just take this step and you’ll find that He’s actually waiting on you!

Hello everyone, my church advised me to divorce my husband. I didn’t want to, it my husband did. He said he’d do it under irreconcilable differences. I didn’t want that as we hadn’t had any counselling. He had an affair and wanted to end our marriage. So my divorce 2020 was for adultery my church encouraged it. He remarried less than a year later, Nov 2021. She died Nov 2022 riddled with cancer. I learned about being a stander in early 2023. I have been standing ever since. I’ve been praying for his salvation and our family and future. I pray the Lord will forgive me for my ignorance and foolish decision back in 2020. I pray He will honour our covenant and rejoin us as soon as He sees fit. In Jesus Christ’s precious name I pray. 🙏🏼 Please pray for Peter Hull. Much love to all standers ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

My husband went to his parents house for there help in dissolving our marriage. When he returned from visiting them he was at the courthouse. This is the evil council he believes and follows instead of what God is telling him to do. 💔😭 please pray for my husband, marriage, and I.

Thank you, I clearly hear stay out of God's way, however there is a daily conflict just trying to keep order and run the household and my wife opposes every decision, so how do you not have battle when the battle of the Lord's if the battle is brought to you through contrary behavior? This also emboldens some of the children to copycat the back fighting behavior, so the infection is spreading. But your council encouraged me to say in the light and keep turning the battle over to the Lord. God bless and thank you for getting anything to share this great content

A lot of people reference job when speaking about standing for a marriage. Most storiesI reflected upon I said yes but you didn't mess with their marriage. And then the Lord brought me to the story of Hosea. That seems more relevant...and also answered my questions annoy standing through infidelity. Ive been standing for 4yrs. We were on and off but 2 months ago found out he is sleeping with OW. God told me I was released and had the chose to stand. I've been on the fence healing and am still unsure.

Mark 12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

Question: at 26 minute mark you briefly mention there may be a no-fault thing where the prodigal spouse filed for divorce. And they end up divorced through a passage of time. Can you clarify what you meant when you said “they did not touch the covenant, it was enacted by someone else?” Thank you

Escape clause that allows divorce is misinterpreted ... Look !!! History and remembering culture of Bible Times when the bible was written is so important.. In the case of Joseph and Mary ... he was going to divorce Mary over being unfaithful to him. This cultural time and place in Israel. when a couple are engaged they are considered man and wife. that is why Joseph said he will divorce her ever thought a wedding had not taken BUT if you are married this verse does not apply. and the Lord says one who is divorced can not remarry.

My ex-husband was also jailed.. he wanted to kill me.. happily long before I confronted him, always he was talking about husbands who killed there wifes, and when he throw me and my belongings out of the house, by strong commanding me to leave like this, I confronted him; you are always talking about husbands killing there wifes, would you also do this to me? If it is needed, he answered. From that point on I never made it any effort anymore to want to live with him again. But I still would meet him, and in one of those moments he went after me to want to kill me. The police was very quickly to intervene. My goodness that was a lesson to learn. Later in time, he would kind of back down on it that he would rather hurt himself then others. Your message was hopefull that it is still possible for recovery! I have this promise to run with.. I believe God spoke to me lately through Filemon verses 15-16! And later through Jes. 42:1-9! After 15 years. Quite exiting! Listening to your teaching it all makes kind of sence!

Great teaching dominic. However, I believe you refer to Matthew 5 and 19 where Jesus said that divorce is the option because of fornication. We must realise that Jesus was still speaking in light of the law of Moses in these verses and not for our time. Therefore there is no allowable reason for divorce in our time in Christ. This is supported by 1 Corinthians 7, verse 39, a woman is bound to her husband for as longashelives (and vice versa) God can restore all situations from all troubles, even a situation of abuse in a marriage. Otherwise, either way it becomes a situation of adultery in both spouses if they were to move on after divorce, even due to fornication. Yet, in Mark 10 and Luke 16 there is no mention of the fornication clause. Just something to consider for the sake of context

The Bible gives two clear grounds for divorce: (1) sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32; 19:9) and (2) abandonment by an unbeliever (1 Corinthians 7:15). Even in these two instances, though, divorce is not required or even encouraged. The most that can be said is that sexual immorality and abandonment are grounds (an allowance) for divorce. Confession, forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration are always the first steps. Divorce should only be viewed as a last resort. This is pasted from GotQuestions. The important take away is that divorce is not God’s perfect will and should be avoided at all costs. It is rather a part of God’s permissive will.

I use too as well, but Grace help me to understand there is more to it. No book can contain all of God's Word. You have reprobate, narcissistic minded people and the marriage will never be 1 flesh without God's involvement on both people parts. God detects mans hearts and motives. Question: If a spouse walks off and leaves the other spouse for years or year. Is that not a violation of the Covenant? ( that spouse is thing as a single person, selfish mindset. Sound like a double minded man. It not about 1 spouse, but both) So, can the other person remarry?Patient is 1 key. Its best to wait on the Lord voice and His peace be4 moving to the next person. We all need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He will lead and guide us. This is what's most important. He know the beginning from the end. You talking to a person been married almost 25 years and We been through ALOT, BUT I personally was obedient to the voice of God and that's why I'm Not divorced and remarriage. This may not be the case for others people marriage.Every marriage situation is different. Think about Grace. It's not to do what we want, but what God allows us to do.Lets Give Grace to others and keep an open mind to The Holy Spirit, The Voice of God. He will teach us ALL THINGS! BLESSINGS AND ENLIGHTMENT. ✌️ and Joy to you All!
