@@Parvision- @Parvision the theory is excellent and one of the best and this would mean bogard will be an admiral level.I would like to add a few points as well. i 1 i think he will be of the same age as aokiji and others.and he is probably kong's protege for some time and the fact that kong trusted bogard gives me more to this. 2. we have not seen a trueswordsman on the marines side at all who is at Admiral lvl and we saw thatadmiral have sword training but there is no true swordsmen among them. we didn't see any of those supreme grade swords on the marines side till now. what if bogard is having one of supreme grade swords. He has all these connections with garp,kong and other higher ups and to fight roger pirates i don't think a normal sword would do the job and this also makes sword as much more fitting name. 3. Maybe dragon and bogard are friends who trained at some point like how we saw with helpmeppo and coby did in flashback. 4 Also if admirals don't even have access to who the sword member really is and CP0 knew all of these members. Only one person could do that who worked as a marine and working for WG. the commander in cheif kong. Also sword goal is never to mess with WG and only on yonko and pirates what do you think about this? and what are your thoughts?. There are more and more a near admiral or admiral powerhouses coming in the navy. First is that VA black horse from an investigative group from marines and now this bogard.

I wonder if Bogart was listed as one of the Admiral candidates by either Sengoku or Akainu but I think you need to be a Vice Admiral before being candidate or being promoted to Admiral or so we thought since Akainu recruited Fujitora through draft. I also wonder if Bogart and Koruma aka 'Black Horse' have some type of relation since Koruma is head of the Criminal Investigation Unit, maybe they were friends or rivals, to me they give off the same demeanor and mysterious vibe, they also both wear very sharp suits.

Bogard as the leader of sword makes sense. Roger and Garp have strong Luffy vibes and both Rayleigh and Bogard give me vibes that they are Sanji and Zoro combined or at least certain elements of their characters. For Bogard it's Sanji's mr prince stuff combined with Zoro's absolute loyalty to Luffy.

I'm willing to bet that rock star is The Secret agent in shanks's crew. But the only issue him is that the shanks probably knows

Making a case for Bogard to be on Egghead is great especially when you realize the main goal of egghead is to save VEGAPUNK meaning Luffy made the promise for this arc like how he promised vivi to beat crocodile, promised to beat dofflamingo, and promised to make Wano a place where everyone no longer has to starve. Luffy has now promised to make sure Vegapunk sails off with them so they will make that happen and Bogard would definitely be on board to helping someone as genuine as Vegapunk

This is a very good theory in my opinion, and I think I have something that still confirms it, at least partially. Well, someone must have informed Kuma about the presence of Straw Hats in the Archipelago, and while he might have known that they were going there, just because he fought them on Thriller Bark, he could not have known that they would need his help to escape the Admiral later. The first to know about the incident with Celestial Dragon was the Navy and among them was Bogard. Therefore is a chance that he got information from Kuma about Straw Hats after his meeting with them, and on this basis he decided to help them, later informing Kuma about the threat from the Admiral. It's also interesting that Dragon just knew about Luffy's presence in Loguetown right after Garp met Koby and the sailors he helped.

Oden left so many symbolism throughout the show that something as simple as eyeglass says alot. Revolutionary, veapon and swords

If Bogart does help them out, he would probably still keep the information he knows close to his chest so as not to give too much away. Bogart “knows” Luffy, or at least has an idea about him, through Garp. If the two are similar, Garp probably never wants to know the details of missions and the like either because it spoils the adventure.

One of the best theory i have ever watched, and now i honestly hope it comes true. Keep up the good work

Hey Par, i figured it out. 3 parties end up at lodestar island, the strawhats, cross guild, and marines. Zoro fights Mihawk, crocodile bodies greenbull (crocs df completely negates greenbulls, cant suck moisture from sand) and i think while luffy is fighting whoever, Buggy sees what shanks sees in him and sacrifices himself for Luffy to make it to Laughtale. If Buggy was upset shanks didnt follow Rogers dream, he'd eventually wake up and see Luffy is basically Roger

I’ve always loved your theories Par and you seem like a great person. One of the reasons I’ve always loved your stuff is because you have the ability to dig in places and make connections I would have never made and somehow make it make sense. I also appreciate how open you are with the community collaboratively, as well as introducing us to awesome content creators. BUT a lot of this theory in particular seems like agenda and head-canon. I like Bogart, but from a narrative standpoint and in terms of focus in the story, he has little to no weight. Him having a larger role would be unprecedented without some sort of lead-in, which is what Oda tends to do. Even with someone like Moda, the milkmaid. She was only a cover story character, but she had a role where she was essentially the central protagonist of Lulusia during the Reverie arc. Now that she is alive, it’s possible she has a bigger role. Bogart has always been a support character that more or less is a background character. It’s a fun idea and no idea is a bad idea, but I think this is the most unrealistic possibility for the story you’ve had. You still did the research and it’s still a great video. I just want to be honest.

So what i will say is that IF this theory is true, then it needed this much to be right. when oda reveals something like this, there probably wont be lead-in. LIKE the stussy situation. unfortunately when it comes to the espionage kind of tropes. the clues are more drastic imo because the reveal of someones allegiances are hard to tease at without giving it away. So if you think about the stussy situation, it was a small tease that i noted, but MOST of the community called me crazy to say that she was probably tied to revs/vegapunk. but then what we got was a SUPER OVERLOADED tie in for stussy, past rocks pirate, clone, double agent, bat? LOL ya know what i mean? oda put that in there not me, and what youre saying is the same thing that would be said if someone predicted that correctly. im not sure how someone could have predicted all of that cuz i think i was pretty close, but still far off. and i see that here in that. if you take a step back, thats why i framed this theory using these structural points that for the most part cant get much push back on. as in bogard for me connects all of the dots in between, that most other support characters are not placed in this regard as importance. WHILE he is a "support character" at the end of the day he is a character who served as the prototype for GARP! AND follows the admiral pattern that most other characters dont follow. like moda as an example has not had that kind of important tie in, in any regard right? thats whats so crazy about bogard, a character that has been in the shadows. would serve perfect for as the best spy!

@@Parvision- We’re clearly ramping up towards the end of the series and One Piece is unquestionably fast right now. My thing is that because we’re in the final saga, Oda will likely leave a lot of characters and side plots unfulfilled. I’m here worried that Oda will give little to no attention to the strawhats, side characters that have importance to the main plot, plot lines that have yet to come together, etc. Bringing all these big characters together is streamlining the story, leaving room for only central plot points, which is why everything has seemed so quick. Bogart may be in the story, but Garp is the important one here, not Bogart. We need to have emotional resonance with Garp’s character. It isn’t the same as Vegapunk. Garp is an important character to the main character in the entire story. We need to question what he’s going to do before he does it. If Bogart were to surprisingly be a bigger character than he is, he would steal that attention away from Garp. To me, because Oda started with his design, is insight or an Easter egg into Garp’s character. Maybe Garp’s story is similar to Casablanca. Or maybe Garp’s daughter had a similar story. And again, it’s a fun theory, at this point in the story I just can’t see the vision.

This has been my theory that Bogard is the leader of the Sword, it's obvious if it's Garp. I also think that Bogard is a female and Garp's daughter and wife of Dragon. And also last year I think it's not just Aokiji. I think there is another one that is traitor in BB crew, working hand to hand alongside Aokiji.

Bogard + Smoker saving the weaker strawhats after the strong fighters are forcefully sent 4 years into the future makes sense. They'd be ready for Blackbeard's Reverie and Luffy wouldn't have to age (which is something Oda specifically stated he doesn't want to do).

Hibari could be related to Bogart as his fedora hat obscures his eyes and Bogard is based off US actor Humphrey Bogart so could speak with a Hiroshima accent which is close to an American accent and would explain the close relationship that Sakazuki has with Dragon with some form of grudge.

Oda watching this like: damn that would've been a great idea.

I imagine you made this script before 1082 but the scans make me believe Garp isn't part of Sword as well, because Hina specifically says that he "teamed up with Sword". As if he doesn't already align himself with Sword. Like you said I think Garp can just do whatever he wants anyways so being affiliated with them is redundant, originally I thought he created it since Koby was in it. But it makes sense if he just advocated for it because Bogard is the leader of it, or if Bogard was the one who got them to join it.

I think sword doesn’t have a leader but the members were inspired by how Garp acts. It would be a parallel to how Luffy refused the Grand Fleet but they followed him of their own will.

Impossible challenge: Drink a shot everytime he says Bogart.

X Drake's rank in SWORD in Japanese is 隊長 (taichou), which means literally "(group) leader" (like 船長 senchou means literally "ship leader"), as opposed to 大佐 (taisa), the Marine title of captain. The same word is also used for Yonko Commanders, which lead a sub-group of a Yonko crew, and seems to imply that either X Drake is the leader of the entirety of SWORD or a division within SWORD rather than being a specific rank. As of Prince Grus, I think the original text just calls him prince in Japanese as a joke on his name, it's just in the translation it was translated to "your highness" to keep the joke.

I can't lie, the trail of logic for Bogard's power level does make sense. I definitely thought he was a rokushiki master all things considered. However, the "training arc" he would essentially be putting the SH through seems hard to believe. If they were to suffer a defeat prior to his arrvial and then he were to offer the idea, the question has to be asked, who would he have to save Luffy from if the SH lost. He would be putting a lot on the line with his standing and run the risk of being labeled a rogue since he's not formally a member. Not to mention the members of the marines that are on their way number in the several dozen. So it's hard to say that he can even get away with the SH if they were to even leave with him. I do like the idea of him having that role, just dont see him risking it for the SH, that role feels better for pirates/revs. also im thakful the outro is back lol

Maybe bogard is also the right hand man of dragon which would explain why revolutionary don't have a character which uses sword while almost every major fraction have a character that uses sword

It makes sense that Garp wouldn't be a part of Sword. I think the purpose of having Sword members is for the Navy to do certain things they want to do, but can't do because of public opinion. If a Sword member is caught, they Navy can denounce them. It would make sense then that the Navy would want an actual marine in charge of these guys. Someone in the Navy that Sword members would answer to and could possibly take a certain amount of accountability for the members. Who's more perfect for the role than Garp? I imagine leadeing Sword is one of the only things Garp wants to do in the Navy, and they pretty much have to let him do it just because of the amount of selfless service he's done.

I don't agree with garp not being good with secrets He kept ace, dragon and luffy all secrets,and the only people who knew of it prior to marineford was sengoku And the reason sengoku knows is because garp knows that sengoku won't just go after them because sengoku does respect garp and Roger just like garp respects roger

i can agree to that honestly. the only thing i could say is that might be why he didnt live with them close to his chest. The moment he sees luffy he is just transparent about everything. Like if Ace and Luffy were in his daily life, then he wouldnt be able to hide his true emotions. Like when sengoku is complainging about luffy and he says that its his grandson. Or when Garp is announcing to ALL of water 7 that luffy is his grandson on the loudspeaker before he chases him. So its like yeah he can keep the secret if he isnt confronted with it. So if he were a spy, then someone asked him about something, idk if he'd be able to hide anything. kind of like how luffy comes up with a secret plan against big mom, then he kind of just tells them what his plan is. haha but i get your point, but i do think as a role-model for spy, the buck would stop at the secrecy aspect. like what koby and drake are doing in their phone call for example, just feels so odd for garp to ever train, teach, do himself. haha maybe the leader of sword doesnt need to be a spy. but i made this before 1082, and i think 1082 ended up backing this up in a way. we'll see when official translations come, but think it does make sense. i had paint out my logic alot more here than i would have had to after 1082
