You, Me, and World War 3 | Michael Knowles at Cornell University

Recent threats made by a Cornell University student to kill Jewish people are just the latest examples of extreme threats emerging nationwide as we stare WWIII in the face. Michael Knowles confronts the pro-terrorist radicals once and for all.
This Young America’s Foundation event is part of the Logan Family Lecture Series.

Michael Knowles is the celebrated host of “The Michael Knowles Show” at the Daily Wire and “The Book Club” at PragerU. He is also the author of the best-selling book “Speechless.”

I can’t get over the fact that he doesn’t like dogs. I mean, who doesn’t like a sweet lovable dog? He readily admits it. His kids will never have pets. I can’t get it out of my mind. The girl who asked about the will of the people and whether it should influence positions on gay marriage or transgender health care seems to have missed something, which Michael also didn't address. Neither of those do or can exist, regardless of anyone's will. Marriage cannot be between people of the same sex. There's no such thing as transgender. No will of the people or even law can change reality.

I'm not actually an uncle but I am destined to be that cliched "crazy uncle at thanksgiving dinner who has conspiracy theories" It's been my experience that when people say "Don't get political at christmas dinner cause that's toxic" What they really mean is "Don't get conservative at christmas dinner cause that's toxic" I see people who disagree with me get twice as overtly political without causing as much trouble. All this to say, I think knowles sets a great example of how best to be open about what you think, in such a way where you won't give anyone an excuse to accuse you of toxicity. It's behavior many of us can learn from.

Conservatism also stands against injustice and evil, as we did against King George, in the Civil War, and WWIi. But we also did so in Afghanistan and Iraq, no one can truthfully deny the evil inflicted upon Afghan women or the evil of Saddam and his sons who inflicted upon their own people as a party weekend the atrocities just seen in Israel. Conversation does not equate to inaction for the sake of the status quo when faced with an evil. The overall direction of those wars may be objectional but no Conservative should lament the fact that we chose to confront evil.

Enjoyed this talk immensely and so much so that I watched it a second time. His early remarks about current University. curriculum reflects the view I see to have happened to my Alma mater. Our culture has change so much over the past 50+ years that it is no longer recognizable. The growth of "wokeness" and establishment of a multitude of divisive groups is leading us to a collapse of civilization. All this should be be very obvious to anyone who compares their lives under the Trump administration to what they experience today under this administration. All they have to look at are the economy, the cost of daily living, the employment rates, and the absents of war threats just to name a few.. Michael's answers to audience questions at the end of his talk are perfect. Every response is so non-confrontational and logical when considered in light of our Judaeo-Christian values. I look forward to watching as many of his talks as possible.

SCOTUS did NOT impose homosexual unions on us, what they said was what is licensed in one state (civil unions) must be recognized in other states (say TN) not licensed in the other states but their licensed civil union they bought in NY had to give these couples marital rights in the other states. The states Attorneys General all unanimously decided they were going to sell the licenses and think we were all too stupid to know what that string of words means. TN and KY immediately ordered clerks to sell marriage licenses without regard to the law, “because Supreme Court said they have the right in every state” but they don’t have the right to buy a license, and the states still could’ve called the licenses civil unions and used less inappropriate language as it was never called marriage officially anywhere until they all said that we have to let 2 lesbians who have the civil union license who move to our state have the same legal rights and privileges as married people so the right to make end of life decisions for example without another legal and easy to get piece of paper called Power of Attorney, and they can fight in court over shared property like the house they played house in but only one of them paid for.

However I can't help but notice that among the DW hosts, Walsh's show has grown to a point of far surpassing Knowles, this despite the fact that his show has had less time to grow. In this commenter's humble opinion Walsh has a style that gets you further in life if you're trying to be a podcast host. Knowles however has a style that gets you further along if you're involved in most other places. He isn't determined to get along to a point where he betrays anything that he believes, but he still does all that he can to stop his opponents from becoming his enemies (even if his opponents don't do their part)

That’s a good assessment. It should also be noted that Walsh is very clearly less agreeable than Knowles (not to say Knowles is willing to concede a point for no reason), and does not have the same desire for empathy, though empathy at a certain point is overidolized. I do like Knowles more because he incorporates his theological beliefs into all his arguments, which seems to me to be a more logical position as a Christian (Catholic in this case).

@@CyrusStrattonIf you're good enough at sports to play professionally then it is a very rewarding career indeed, but if you're not one of the rare few who's gifted enough to make it a career then by the time you're out of high school being good at sports doesn't get you anywhere. I liken this to the style of people like Walsh, as well as candace Owens, or Jordan Peterson, or really anyone who's better at "destroying" people than Knowles. It works great if you are able to make a career just publicly sharing your thoughts on things. If, like the vast majority of the world you can't make a career out of it I think the Knowles approach sets a better example. I'm not concerned about the fact that some Daily Wire hosts get better numbers. It doesn't have to be a competition. One thing I do worry about though, is that some might see how much more Walsh has grown, and learn the wrong lesson from that. Works GREAT for Walsh, and I'm happy we have Walsh. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll work great for YOU

It’s a breath of fresh air to hear other Christians side with their “elder brother” when it comes to religion. I’m tired of people always saying that we’re zionists and that jews hate Christians so Christians shouldn’t like Jews either.

As the Q&A was ongoing i just came to a conclusion: what's the point in legalise abortion of (to be born American citizens) if you neglect the border issue? One may say they're unrelated (i might agree to a certain extend) but isn't the priority to take care of america and its citizens first and foremost? 🤔 something to think about ( and I'm unbiased since I'm not American but follow its political quotidian).
