You’ll want to see the transformation this table has had!
Here is how we did it:
1. Cleaned the piece with TSP alternative
2. Filled in the crack with wood filler
3. Sanded down the top of the table with 120 grit, and then smoothed it out with 220 grit
4. Lightly scuff sanded the bottom of the table
5. Painted the bottom of the table in the colour Eucalyptus by Fusion Mineral Paint
6. Used the colour Cashmere by Fusion Mineral Paint to create a paint wash. 1 part paint 2 parts water- brushed that on in sections and wiped off excess with an old rag.
7. Added the Matte Tough Coat by Fusion to finish the piece!

    Is there a way to use black Fusion to approximate the look of Japanese charred wood?

    I just painted all my kitchen cabinets in eucalyptus. So so so disappointed. The paint is rubbing off.
