You'll Stay Tired Unless You Change These 3 Things

I can almost GUARANTEE that you are making at least one of these 3 HUGE MISTAKES if you are struggling with your productivity. I know that it is hard to be productive when you are tired. Whether you are a University student, have a full-time job or a side hustle that you're passionate about, it's important to have the time and energy to do the things that we want to do, outside of our normal commitments. However, I know that it is hard to find the energy to do things when we feel like we are always tired.
So, in this video I go over the three BIGGEST mistakes that stop people being productive when they are tired. This is the best productivity tutorial for beginners who are looking to get more energy and if you implement these three things, you will certainly maximise your productivity. Of course, this is especially important at this time of year when we are trying to optimise our productivity during exam season.
Best,
Olly :)

the “are you being productive? or just being busy?” is something I’ve been trying to improve at for a while now, I often find myself impulsively cleaning my closet or doing work for something else instead of what I actually need to be doing, I’m glad you brought it up, great video!

If you can get this right, it will honestly completely change how you look at the tasks in your life. It's crazy that you do things impulsively to put off tasks, I do that too but for me it tends to be listening to music haha. Super glad that you enjoyed the video, let me know if you have any ideas for videos that you'd like to see in the future :)

Great video! Your Crash List video popped up in my feed, and that led me here. I’ve subscribed! People should note that at 4:05 it says white noise has been shown to have cognitive benefits for *neurotypical people* - that is, people without ADHD or Autism, etc. I’m not saying brown noise would cause us harm (I have autism). They either didn’t include neurodivergent people in their study or they did and it provided them no benefit.

Heyyy Olly! heyyy Olly!! Loved the video. I think many a times when we are beating ourselves up for being not productive , or getting so little done and labelling our lack of energy for lazy, we do need somebody to remind us that the mind and the body are not two separate things, and taking care of both and accommodating our own health needs, and dealing with it as a more a project in progress with little tweaks and creative approaches and strategic amends rather than associating it with simply our identity is a much needed reminder!! As always, the editing keeps getting better every vid!!

New subscriber here! Just saw a couple of videos and they are on point. Most times we know whats wrong, we just dont know how to organise and correct it. I am an artist and I often find myself coming up with a 100 different ideas but later get overwhelmed picking what to work on. So they end up getting shelved. I like your content and if you have any thoughts on this I'd love to hear about it.

Hi, so cool that you have found the channel and thank you so much for your kind words. It's interesting that you mention feeling overwhelmed, there's been a few comments liked that. What I will say is, I like the idea that we have to be thoughtful with our goals and time. The reality is, we only have a certain amount of hours in the day etc and it is impossible to do everything we might have planned or aspire to achieve. So, we should pick no more than 4 things, but make sure that these are all things that are the most rewarding. Likelihood is, these will be the most challenging things that encourage us to learn the most. Hopefully that helped a little but I am aware one of the main things that makes us feel overwhelmed is not having a good grasp of time management. So, the video tonight will hopefully be of help to you, keep an eye out for the 'crash calendar'. All the best, Olly :)
