Sorry for my voice sounding weird in this video I've been sick, and wasn't originally planning to make a video. But I decided to anyway!

I realized I was playing too much BOTW when I saw a rock in a strange place in real life and my first reaction was to see if there was a Korok under it. Edit: wow, 1k likes! Thanks, guys. I don’t think I’ve had that happen before. Glad to see I’m far from the only person searching for koroks IRL ❤️

The paraglider one is too relatable... I've only actually completed the main story once. That's how easily you get used to it.

This is probably the only video game where playing a new game+ file basically requires you to have hundreds of hours of experience with the game.

Can someone explain what this means? I haven’t really played much of these type of games
@javiervasquez625
Жыл бұрын
@@SyenPie The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an openworld sandbox game where you spend literal *hours* worth of your day simply exploring the world of Hyrule while interacting with the environment, enemies, NPCs and the such before with the main objective of the game been secondary to the exploration itself which is at the heart of the game's experience. Due to the fact that completing the map 100% takes over 100 HOURS worth of gameplay it would take you at least 100 hours of "experience" to complete it again in New Game+.
@borstenpinsel
Жыл бұрын
@Javier Vasquéz idk. You can cut trees (and destroy pots as per usual) but that doesn't seem to make up a sandbox game
"You spend most of your time just exploring the map, and looking around, not really going towards a specific goal." That's how I played the game from day one. 😄😄

I felt personally attacked on the paraglider one… like come on it happens every time it seems like I should be able to remember it by now 😂😂
The sound of the guardians still scares me, and more when there are more than 1 😩😭
When I think of Breath of the Wild, I’m likely to think of Link picking up a rock and getting jumpscared by “Yahaha!!!”.
1:06 nah bro i still got ptsd from the guardian theme
I felt the last one on an emotional level.

Pretty much me in a nutshell, but screw those 900 koroks
Omg this is so true. But for me, the hardest blight is waterblight, just because in the mipha's ballad it is a pain beating him (in master mode) with just the zora equipment.

The immersion takes to another level that it turned to a medium of meditation. I keep back to BOTW just to chill or if I have a hard time to sleep.

For me it's Ravioli jump that I missed very much when starting a new game. You get to the glider fairly quickly but it takes ages to get to the flying beast. Even when you already know where you need to go
@xellostube
Жыл бұрын
Ravioli lol
You know you've played too much if you've filled out the Hyrule compendium without buying photographs.
0:45 Is this a Quinbobin reference. If you don't know he has collected every korok seed and he calls them tiny green men.
@Little_L
Жыл бұрын
yes it is lol
Collecting the 900 korok seeds are the most dreaded things I have to do in a game. Honestly, the shrines were alright but when I found out that the korok seeds take up over 70% of the total game I almost lost the will to live- the guardian theme still gives me anxiety and I get ptsd whenever I hear it!
I was relieved to find out that you don't need all 900 smelly seeds to max out your inventory. Then I stopped. It was annoying to get to this point even but I figured I should be prepared Ganon. Turns out it's one of the easiest enemies in the game (or I was just lucky that I beat him first try, who knows)

In Master Mode, if you don't parry perfectly, he heals a bunch
@anthonyryan6208
Жыл бұрын
If you don't finish the divine beasts (you can kill the bosses to prevent the boss rush before Ganon) then he will be at full health since the laser beams don't activate until you turn on the terminal(after the boss) only issue is you don't get the champion abilities. But he is slightly more challenging since he has more health
You know you’ve played too much when 100% the hyrule compendium
You know you've played wayyy too much when this sound doesn't give you anxiety any more
After winning master mode I can't play regularly anymore. Its just better in master mode I love the floating platforms lol
"Just collecting weird smelling golden seeds from litte men" 🤨🤨
Duuude ur back!! Also, the guardian sound always has and always will make me anxious, I even had it as an alarm before and JESUSU CHRIST did that scare me
Currently doing a Master mode, 1row of hearts (15 from memory) rest is temp hearts, no parry unless guardian/boss/lynel, permadeath run. No fairy revives and all champ abilities only recharge on a blood moon. Lots fun and have died 4 times total early on due to risk taking, but now I’ve made significant progress and hoping I don’t die and restart again.
I’m just here to say Nintendo must make a game with an old, bearded Link. That would be sick
sometimes i'll be playing another game and just jump off a ledge, forgetting that i don't have a paraglider
Guilty as charged! Goes to interview, New Boss "What is your Greatest life achievement?" Me "Collected 900 Korok poops." New Boss " Your Hired, that takes dedication!"

@@julien827 Wow you are dedicated! that is awesome! Did it get any easier to find them each play through.
"Little green men." I was laughing. Great content!
All relatable, except for the falling to my death. Though I do forget i don’t gave the paraglider hehe
I realized i was playing Zelda today when i tried to glide on my imaginary shield
I’ve played like 200 hours but barely know how to do any glitches
I still get a small reaction from the guardian sound, but it's my heart going slightly faster and my mind entering combat. I don't get scared anymore, but it still startles me too much for my own comfort.
I feel like master mode only feels even somewhat difficult at the start of the game cos it’s hard to kill some enemies with weaker weapons but once your done with the plateau I feel it’s not harder than normal, even gold enemies by the time u see them you have strong weapons anyway
When i heard the guardián sound i am like: yes 7 more ancient arrows.
I saw an orange crane from a distance thought "I should mark the sheikah tower"
The Chef has 4,000 hours 😂
I remember 2 years ago I had one of the most powerful weapons in the game had many hearts, and still was afraid of a guardian stalker and even the decayed one. This year I conquered that fear. But the theme of the guardian stalker still kinda gives me anxiety.
Why is this so accurate😂😂😂 Great video!!! I hope they get rid of the 900 koroks in Tears of the Kingdom lol

Greetings from the BIG SKY. I went deer hunting for a couple years.
whenever im on top of a hill irl i get the urge to jump with my paraglider
That last one hit to close to home man... lol Nice video!
I feel like every single thing here probably applies to me 🤣
I feel this. This is very accurate.
I remember when Breath of the Wild first came out, I had been playing all day, and when I turned off my switch I tried to save my game irl
It occurs to me I can't do anything on this list! One day I'll figure out the whole shield surfing thing.
Me the whole vid “yup that’s me”
You know you've played too much Zelda when you see a shooting star in real life and try to go after it
nice job of hitting your 25k subs goal by the en of the year
When you find a rock and pick it up and you make a korok to place under it
I realized I played when I could the sound effects in my day to day life like when I was sleep I could link hyaa😂
I'm doing my 2nd replay now after like 2 years of my first play through and I just beat thunder blight ganon and I remember spending like a day before watching videos on how to defeat him and this time it was like, ok prepare prepare I made a bunch of food and got everything ready all for nothing, like didn't get hit once what happened😂
I envy the love and following percistance to keep the love going for so long
I saw a pinecone on the ground the other day and immediately went to pick it up because my brain told me to put it in my inventory
When i hear the guardian sound i get excited i love fighting them
I can definitely relate to a lot of these but especially at 1:31
1:16 „you‘ve learned glitches“ i have a 10x Multishot bow of light
I remember completing the first four shrines and then just stopped following missions and just focused on creating interesting dishes
These are all so relatable lol 🤣
I played too much Zelda that I intentionally remove rocks and accidentally found a ventilation hole for a basement of an army center ruin 😂
I haven't played in the regular difficulty ever since I got the Master Mode DLC. And I've replayed BOTW dozens of times since. Seeing blue and black bokoblins is normal to me, and enemies regenerating health is also normal to me. I've taken down the Trial of the Sword in Master Mode dozens of times. Taken down the Lynel at Master Mode's Great Plateau using only Great Plateau gear, several times. Completed all shrines, Divine Beasts, Champions' Ballad, dozens of times. All in Master Mode. It's my normal mode now. Yes I'm flexing. Also, I use third-party joy-cons because my original joy-cons broke, but the third-party joy-cons don't have motion controls. So I often compromise apparatus shrines using windbombs. ...Actually I cheat most of the shrines with windbombs, it's just such a good glitch
@anthonyryan6208
Жыл бұрын
Dozens of times?... do you play anything else lmao
How professionally done I also have 1000+ hours and I do tons of combat, but Thunderblight in the Beast is a pain in the ass lmao
So much of this is relatable as I've played for over 1000 hours...
Guilty as charged. Lol
man I really felt the having a bunch of different accounts thing and the guardians no longer giving me anxiety lol
It’s insane, but now that I’ve played thought a few times, I can defeat Thunderblight without dying once.
I really want to feel the anxiety when hearing the guardian Sound just once again. nowadays i just go 'oh hi ancient materials
thunderblight ganon was my 2nd boss i have beat, and i always avoid monsters/guardians unless i have to fight them😭
that one with the paraglider is sooooooo true
i died more times at the waterblight ganon than the thunderblight ganon in my first game lol
0:19 Man is fighting thunder blight with 3 hearts.
You know you've played too much Zelda if you understand the timeline🗿
0:29 i have like 400 hours in zelda (16 of which where devoted to practicing on thunerblight in memories) so I think I've played for a while
Hi i just wanna say keep making zelda content dont stop i love zelda and love the channel.

thank you!
I thought having multiple accounts with different levels of completion was just me! Lol
I played the game ever since the game came out so all of this is ralatable😄
When you have both maxed out health and maxed out stamina
1:30 i didnt learn any of these glitches. but i did learn the bridge of hylia glitch where i accidentally entered one of the pillars using a camera and built a campfire in there. im gonna try it on more walls
“Little green men” *shows little brown man*
Sort of off topic, but I didn't realise how much I'd like to see an older Link with a beard until this thumbnail. He's always very young and new to the whole hero thing, it'd be interesting to see an older Link who already has a few adventures under his belt
I realized when I completed my goal to get max ancient arrows, (which took me over 30 hours of killing every guardian in the game except Hyrule Castle every blood moon) and after spending who knows many more hours playing use 1 ancient arrow immediately bought a new one from Robbie and I haven’t used a new one since.
You know you play way too much Zelda when you jump off something in real life.... only to come crashing to the ground because you don't actually have a parachute.
I have over 200 hours and beat the game in my Wii U and my switch got master cycle and all shrines and i can’t wait for the sequel
1k hours??? dayum and here i am at 500 hours thingking that i played a lot
Whenever I restart my game (naturally followed by too much non-stop playing), I get the urge to photograph random sparrows because it might be one I don't have in my album yet and the blank spots will bother me.
The guardian music doesn’t give me anxiety anymore bc I listened to it way too much. it was my top song this year
Bro, literally me, I spent like 2000 hours playing Zelda and I am not jouking hahahaha
Watching your videos is making me want to replay botw
One indicator of playing too much zelda is when your hero paths mode doesn’t even connect back to the very start
Keep up the great content!

Thanks, will do!
i bet someone would come in and say "haha rookie numbers"
The first one is so true for me 0:07
When I was playing BoTW I knew I was playing too much when I'd be out driving and I'd see a tall 4G tower and think "ah shit I gotta climb that to unlock the next part of the map"
why is this so accurate
I realized I played zelda too much when I saw deer running and got confused why they weren’t disappearing
Why is this so relatable
I realized I played too much when I finished the game in 5 days.
