Yes, I get it! We lost our sweet little boy Quincy a year ago. He turned 15 the day after he passed. We so miss him. So sad for your loss.

Wow,I had a dachshund beagle mix that lived to be 17 years old. I was working night shift when she died and I called in sick that night because I was so upset. I loved her like a child,I was devastated and swore I would never get another pet but a few years later I did and my new one has the exact same personality as my other,it’s almost freaky.

I'm sorry for your loss. Our pets are family members. It hurts deeply losing them. March 28th was 3 years ago for me.

GOD'S got a great sense of humor..

In September 2006 I got a rescue mini Doxi female. She was about a year old then so I call January 1 her birthday each year. She is sleeping beside me right now, January coming she starts her 18th year. I have to help her up and down the front stairs to the yard and sometimes she doesn't make it outside but a little cleaning up is the least I can do for a friend of that many years.

Cute little guy! My little Noodle was with me for 15 years. Miss that girl so much.

I lived with my best friend for a year and half and his mini decided I was his favorite human. He followed me EVERYWHERE in the house regardless of whatever I was doing and sat in my lap every time I chose a seat and I took him for car rides all the time. I miss him.

A house is not a home without a Doxie! Amen!

There is no greater pain than the pain of losing a Dachshund. I said goodbye to my sweet Sophie 3 years ago, and I still think about her and miss her everyday.

You have to spend a lot of time smooching their soft, warm, little round heads. It can become quite addictive. BTW, today, June 21 is National Dachshund Day. The longest day for the longest dogs.

I love my dachshund, he’s 13 now but still commands the run of the house & I gladly give it to him because he gives us unconditional love always.

My last mini dachshund out of three passed away a few days after Easter this year. I never got to see her again after moving out (long story short: I had enough of toxicity) and I didn’t get to say that final goodbye. She was 15 years old. Had been with me throughout high school and college. I had a big cathartic cry a few days ago, and as sad as it is that she’s gone, I will be forever grateful that she was in my life at all and for that long. She passed on peacefully and wasn’t alone at the end. I already mourned her by missing her for over a year, but knowing that she was loved, healthy and happy despite the craziness is reassuring. I have saved many photos and videos of her, so her memory will never be forgotten. Wherever her spirit went (I’m agnostic but like to hope an afterlife like Heaven exists), I think she is her younger self again reunited with her sister who we also had but ran away and our first dachshund. I love you, Dorey, Riley, and Maggie. Always have, always will. Rest well, sweet girls. I hope you are eating all the hotdogs you want. Mac is going to have a long, happy life full of love and fun. Dogs are a blessing and they are family. Cherish the time you have with your pets, because they are not with us for all our lives but we are their whole life.

Mine chewed the lower edges right off an expensive coffee table: used plastic wood to rebuild, stain, varnish and no one knew the difference! Then there was the time they ate an entire box of Liqueur filled chocolate "beans" : didn't even burp: just looked very sheepish and a little sleepy: I thought my husband had pigged out at first as there wasn't a tooth-mark on the wrappers -- very neatly smothed out! In short, good luck with your gleesome threesome 👍😊

CUTE CUTE CUTE ! I rescued an older wire/long haired doxie and she was a mess ! Before long she owned me and my other dog. She was house trained and would come get me to go out. I misunderstood her demands (lol) sometimes cause she was after a treat sometimes and Not to go out. lol. SO smart and very sweet. I miss her all the time.

I live with two Dashchunds. No longer puppies one is 4 years old is red all over, the other is a tiny mini he is Black and Tan and 5 years old . The red weighs about 12 lbs and the Black and Tan weighs about 6 pounds. They do everything you saw on this video if you want a constant companion a Doxie is definitely for you. They are wonderful pets. If you like a lot of loving and kisses you want a Doxie.

This is why I love dogs. They always make your life more interesting & entertaining. And if you ever feel lonely or sad, they always remind that you that they always be there for you when you need them the most.

Puppo knows what he likes. He likes being with you, or in places you often go to, and he likes his softs and his warms(especially if they smell like you).

I have 3 Mini dachshunds. They are amazing and little savages too. But I could always count on a snuggle when i need one. One thing I can't count on is a alone time. They are always by my feet or on my lap all 3 of them. 😂 As a tall guy I'll never thought I would love miniature Dachshunds so much. Always pictured myself with a big dog. They are little but they act like big dogs. They got more flight in them than any big guy I know. 😂

For me he feels save with you and his new home and realy beloved. Beautiful to see 💕 💞
