Kareem was 38 when he became scoring leader in 1984. LeBron was born in 1984 and now has become new scoring leader at age 38 and scored 38 points this game and the record is in the 38,000 range. I think 38 is pretty important number in all this?

I find it funny that people still think any player has been better than Lebron at basketball. This is a guy that has been playing/defending 1-5, #1 scorer of all time, top 5 assists, top 10 rebounds, top 10 assists and steals; 8 straight finals, #1 playoffs games played and won, 4 MVPs, 4 final MVP, 4 championships in a highly competitive era. Don't forget a prime of 20 years. The consistency, versatility and longevity. He can score from everywhere. He won with 3 different cities in three different eras. The biggest accomplishment is the comeback to the motherland, especially the 3-1 comeback. I can't argue enough about the greatness of Lebron. And I should not have to if everybody's judgement was fair. Lebron is in a class of his own. We've never seen a specimen like that and we'll never see it again. My concern is: how can anyone argue against such a goated career?

He has routinely put his foot in his mouth by stating his opinion on issues that he doesn't actually understand. He has also demonstrated that he values money and his own business interests above doing what's right. His shoes are made by a company that utilizes slave labor in a country where the government imprisons people who speak out against oppression, yet you will never hear him criticize either because they're a huge source of wealth for him

  • @_JellyDonut_

@Low Murph So which is it, he chooses business over activism or he speaks out when he sees injustice? You contradicted yourself but made a good point in the process. He knows which topics are safe to speak on and which ones will cost him money and he avoids the latter. I'm not even mad about it, almost everyone would do the same. All I'm saying is people have every right to criticize him for doing so. He acts like he cares about injustice but has no problem ignoring the injustices that put money in his pocket. By the way even if the world is a messed up place it's still important to do what's right. He already has enough money for 10 lifetimes so the idea that he's "looking out for his family" is laughable

People saying LeBron has MVP numbers for the 2022 - 2023 NBA season, but this game shows again he sacrified teaming winning for an individual goal. He scored 36 points in the first 3 quarters but ONLY 1 point in the fourth quarter. This was a big game for the Lakers they're behind the Thunder in the standings and they lost. He also PURPOSELY set up to break the record in Los Angles on TN Tuesday night nationally televised game. He sat out the week before this game against the Nets in Brooklyn and then played against the Knicks the next night at MSG.

Michael Jordan would not have wanted that game stopped. He would have kept playing to WIN. Instead Lebron is counting his stats
