Funny I rented the FLCL progression and alternative. I think progression is (second series) but on the dvd the pillows the band who played the music for FLCL didn’t expect alot but did it and gives a lot of details how it went for them lol

It’s so ADHD.

I only just watched FLCL 3 days ago. The first episode, originally released in the year 2000 (it’s important to note), blew my mind! Everything about it screamed “original” “unexpected” “daring” and “WTH?” It was definitely an Anime series ahead of its time. Oh and the music was fantastic!! As for the 2018 (yes 18 years later) series well, I’ll pass. 😅 Thank you this great AMV!! 👍❤️

I caught it back in the adult swim days (maybe 2004) and I always wanted more. Guess I'm saying that to say the sequels were let downs even to long time fans and I'm glad you got a chance to catch the original. I turn my friends on to it whenever I get the chance

Lmao I get you. I’ve already watched it twice and I suddenly got an urge to watch it again. I still don’t understand what FLCL is about but it evokes some very special emotions in me.

FLCL is the only anime in existence I can rewatch and feel the same I did the first time watching, it is like water, it flows, waves and crashes and is a sea full of emotion in motion.

In Chile this song was used by a television network as a morning song, every morning listen to this song, beautiful days.

Ngl, the show is beautiful, but Canti is the thing that makes me so enthralled by it. By far the coolest robot design I've ever seen in fiction period. Insane how well designed that character is.

Seriously loved the series back in the day. I remember watching it late in the night on adult swim. Even though the show was only 6 episodes long. It felt like weeks upon weeks of a journey. It was insanely good show at the time and I consider it a underrated show. It's sad that the sequels couldn't stand up to it's amazement of it's first season.

I clicked on this video for FLCL, I certainly didn't expect to hear Two Door Cinema Club. 👏🏿 I was obsessed with that band back when I was in college.

This AMV introduced me to this masterpiece of a show. I do not regret watching it. Watching this with my friends while they where talking about stuff in my ear made the experience so chaotic my cool

Best FLCL AMV I've ever watched, this video motivated me to watch this series.

Man this really helped me contemplate my own perspective and be thankful of the people who shared some moments of adolescence and growing up with me. I might never meet any of them again, but I fondly look back at the memories that made that stage of my life so vibrant to experience. How much does a person have to experience before they become a stranger to our memories? What conclusions do they come to and what actions have to manifest for them to be "different"? Really fascinating.

A series like this is one of a kind. I watched it a few months ago and I loved it! It's hard to describe. It makes you feel a variety of emotions. You feel sad, happy, confused, and hopeful. It seems simple yet complicated.

Finished FLCL for the first time a week ago. Goddamn, what a show. I don’t usually go for anime, but I can say hands down that this series might’ve changed that. It invokes (at least for me) a certain nostalgia even on initial viewing. I can remember being a bored twelve-year-old without a strong role model to follow. I can remember finally getting to high school and just wishing the entire world would burn along with me in it. I can remember being spiteful and petty with no regard for anybody’s quality of life but my own. I remember that, and I don’t think any other piece of media that I’ve consumed has replicated how that experience feels so flawlessly. As many others have also been saying, I already do feel nostalgia for FLCL even though I just finished it, and just like my own preexisting nostalgia, there’s a certain bittersweetness in knowing it’ll never be your first time again. So, TL;DR, if you haven’t already watched Fooly Cooly, stop reading and do it. It’s on KZread in its entirety, it’s only 6 episodes long, and you have no excuse not to.

Imagine the nostalgia I feel, I watched it the first time at 6 years old because my father bought it in a DVD. Of course I watched several times after that, some years later. I still have the original DVD. It's awesome. 13 years later and many animes watched, this one is still top 3 for me and still my favourite.

No one can take me back to that feeling first time watching this anime.

the lyrics of the song almost perfectly describe everything that FLCL is about, and i think that makes this amv even better. good job this was phenomenal
