From the quicksheets you can select the preview options and select a note a move it out of the quick sheets to the home screen if you want to. You do not need to copy all of them or duplicate them to move them to a specific folder just FYI for new users. Also the tag feature is by far my favorite so powerful to find your documents when using the right tags.

Fyi. Just rename your quick sheets. You can definitely get rid of them… you can delete, rename, or move it. once it’s been renamed clicking “quick sheets” will make a new one in “my files”

oooo i dont know of a way to sync an app with the rM. essentially if you make a note in your rM when you send it the format would be a pdf - so can you attach a pdf to your google calendar meeting appt in a way that you would be happy with? or you could go old school and take a photo of your rM notes and attach that to your google calendar meeting appt? lol - just thinking outside the box here :)

"Quick Sheets" IS a notebook. It's like the default notebook you can't delete or move. You can use templates on them as well. Or you can treat Quick sheets as a notebook on its own.

Okay, how can I get that calendar thing with the business pages? I looked on Etsy, but there are so many that I was not sure. Do you have a video on how to load and use it? This is good stuff!

Im a real estate agent and was using goodnotes on an ipad. I bought the remarkable because the ipad was too heavy to walk around a house and take notes while it rested on my hand. The structure I used was I had a folder called listings. Inside that folder I had another folder named after each property I went to. Inside of that folder I had pdf's that I made or added with the data on that property. How would I re-create that? I transferred a pdf to the rm2. I think from what I am understanding is I create a folder and call it listing appointments. Then I would have a notebook for each property? I need to get my pdfs as pages in the notebook but cant figure out how to do that.

Yes.. First, recreate the same File Structure as you had on the iPad.. your structure is good.. Listings/each Property/Property data... use the +Folder button up the top menu bar.. your data on each property are PDF's that you upload into the appropriate folder. Inside that same folder you can add a +Notebook and make notes as needed too.. hope that helps - happy to chat more 👍🏻

Is it only PDF's you can use dark mode on or does Remarkable 2 have that option for quick sheets and notes? Thanks 🤗

No reMarkable doesn't have a dark mode setting for +Notebooks or +Quicksheets... that's why I made them actually - so that I could use my rM with dark mode documents😄👍🏻

@@2010Searcher sure, im not sure which program you are using to make your templates but you basically need to change the colour of your page to black.. then go ahead and make your template but use white or cream for all the things... does that make sense?

Question can you hastag your documents… like if I have a garden folder for tomato and I hastag in the garden document and then in a recipe document…. Or is there a search feature?

rM uses the function of "tags" - yes you can Tag folders and documents so that you can search later for what you need 👍🏻

How are you able to click on the button on the first page of your journal and it jumps to the page inside the journal. I've uploaded a document and I have to swipe through the pages. I would love to be able to jump to different sections in the docs without having to swipe through all the pages.

Hi Evelyn.. has the document you have uploaded already got hyperlinks programmed into it? I plan out where all I want all my hyperlinks to be and then I spend some time linking them all, then I PDF the document and then I upload it to my rM.. does that make sense?

I’ve never heard of this! Where can I find info?

@@rb.x this is a reMarkable 2 which is an e-ink Tablet... there are others emerging in the market right now and depending on what you like/need you may prefer one over the other.. if you google remarkable.com you will find this amazing little baby :)

I am confused how do you save each day of the planner in the remarkable and reuse the pdf you used as the template?

Do I need to be concerned about the notes I make on the pdf disappearing when the rm gets an update? I want to make a checklist template for my work protocol and thought of making a pdf template instead of png because it seems complicated to make a custom template that won’t delete every update.

Your notes won’t be deleted but the template ‘behind’ them is deleted and needs reinstalling after each software update… does that make sense?

@@bryanbecker ummm no - you are correct in thinking PDF’s are untouched with an Update - it is PNG files that are wiped and need reinstalling after a software update👍🏻👍🏻

@wholeheartedme pdf markup is compatible with any viewers for further modification. But this tab converts pdfs to picture format, not official compatible pdf markup format. That is what I meant 😀

for Europeans: do not buy unless you have a CC. for once, essential functions are only covered by the annual subscription, like data syncing, though you get a year free, you need to have a CC right away, otherwise those functions cannot be used. given the price tag, the superb competition, its just deceiving, a rip off.

Thank you for the review. I just wanted to know if I transfered a notebook of say for example 10 pages to Onenote, will that be sent as a pdf or as 10 png's organised in a single one note page in the same order? Please help I wanted to know this before I made a purchase.

when sending from the rM - you have the choice of sending one page or multiple pages, and you can also choose the format of those pages...

I got my remarkable this morning. I hate the way the line breaks up when writing with the pen. It’s like trying to write with a biro that’s almost out of ink. Most frustrating.
