I was raised to not show emotions, I was raised in a very abusive family dynamic both emotional and physical. Throughout my life I was very abused and hurt by several family members. I have been through a numerous amount of traumas throughout my life. I just recently faced my fears of being alone. About three weeks ago I faced my fears and broke what I believe to have been a karmic relationship he was in my life for thirty years off and on. I realize now that I used him as a crutch to avoid being on my own. He was very abusive emotionally, financially, and spiritually. I recently found your channel and your readings are resonating so profoundly. I am now completely on my own raising my son and I haven't felt this sound in so long. I’m feeling so vulnerable right now, I never speak to anyone about how I feel because they are going to think I’m crazy. I had to move from the city to a rural area far from people because I can feel their thoughts. I tried to give myself time alone and I pushed myself to social activities even though I know I’m going to be exhausted. Nobody ever understands me not even my family. I felt very disconnected with all of them and when I was a child they bullied me telling me I was so sensitive. My family tree is carrying domestic violence and abandonment for generations. I promise myself I’m not going to be the same like they are expecting. I went through a lot but this last year I started to feel more confident about who really am I. I just have to say thank you. For a longtime i used to blame my self for the negative things that other people did to me like maybe I’m not good enough or question myself in some way until I started looking at it like who ever dealt it has to own it. it was just my dad and i growing up. it was never “what’s wrong”, or “let’s talk about it”, and always “don’t cry”, and “you’re okay”. i didn’t learn how to properly address, label, or cope with really big feelings i was having at a very young age. i’ve literally worked so hard these last few years to develop decent communication skills surrounding emotions. it’s been really challenging, but i’m finally feeling like i understand myself, feeling through things, and am getting better at verbalizing my feelings the more i practice 🙂
