Slideways timer is NOT a Cool down. That timer is how long slideways is active. So you would have the handling and stability buff for 4 seconds and can instant proc it again. In ways it’s better than slideshot you just don’t have the range and can’t reload constantly

U can reproc slideways if youre already sliding while the counters reaching zero basically infinite if you really want to idk if it was just being buggy or what but i was managing to get it consistently

Moving target feels better than slideways

I got the 5/5. Small bore, accurized, range MW, sideways, prec instrument. It's got 89 range and it slaps. 140 kills on it since yesterday

I've been using strategist/precision with Gemini Jester stasis and it feels so nice to get 20% of my dodge back after 1 kill as well as disorienting them and slowing. However, better than igneous not really but it's good. Enlightened action also feels good but I hate slideways, even enhanced its ass.

If steady hand dropped every KZread vid about this thing that came out the last few days would have said don’t grind for this. Even without PI

@-Alpeter rose is a 140 and igneous is in the energy slot, crimil is missing quickdraw/snap and slidesshot/irongrip or swash for 2 taps. I also prefer steadyhands gun model and "feel"

I had the 4/5 god roll just sitting in my post master. Fullbore or chambered, accurized, sideways, precision and range master work.

i got corkscrew, steady rounds, slide, PI, and a range MW. 70 range but hella stability feels very nice

I still need to do the dual destiny mission but I’m too much of a coward to lfg :(

Slideshot adagio, adagio with kinetic surge makes most general guardians a 2 tap under something like 90 res iirc. Hella fucking chunky.

Why does everyone treat slideways like it's a worse slideshot when slideways lasts for the whole 3 seconds while slideshot only applies to your first shot? 25 (30 when enhanced, according to d2f and compendium) stability that lasts the whole gunfight for just sliding before the engagement is really good, no?

for the most part because of the boost to range even getting one boosted range shot extends your 3 tap range by quite a bit

I settled on range masterwork, precision instrument, moving target, accurized and smallbore. Range is at 87 which seems excessive but I’m fine with it. If I get a mirror roll but with stability on it to control the jump a bit better that’d be great

I’d rather have stability for the targets that are a little further away. This gun hits hard. Feels slower and clunky so I pair with lucky pants to fix that and I’m on gunslinger to fix the reload speed. This gun is busted with lucky pants. Same with my main Luna. Currently using Crimil with red death and lucky pants on gunslinger with radiant healer setup. 🤤🤤🤤

Pi makes the gun good imo.

5:15 Nahh, I still run stompees and it’s not about the grind at all. It’s about the fact bungie made sure to leave movement exotics off of the class items 😂 my muscle memory on hunter is directly tied to that exotic, never taking em off.

But to be fair I was really disappointed in the weapons and armor sets this season was hoping we got a bunch of new things 😕

As a hunter main, yeah the prismatic kit is absolutely bonkers. However Titan stasis melee followed by the diamond Lance is just bs. There should be an ICD between the stasis melee and the follow up melee. That’s the only true complaint I got
