I need a home like this. I have multi generations in our home and we all need our own spaces.

I love the apartment suite...it would be good for a special needs adult to feel independent and have privacy

I love that the apartment actually has a stove/oven in it

Fantastic house! More homes should be built like this, perfect for so many living situations. Wish I had one!

One heck of a nice home and the best parts were No HOA and the lot size. The layout was also really nicely done.

I like this a lot, this would be great for if you had a elderly parent they can have their own little house/apartment or a kid that is starting out on their own they could have their own little apartment as well, plus they’ll be close to mom and dad if they need them, just many different factors that this separate apt/home could be used for

It has plenty of space, it’s bigger than most studio apartment’s are really, it’s perfect for like an Inlaw suite or child’s first apartment living, the bathroom is big enough, it does have a hall closet, walking in the little side door from the main house, and there is a small pantry closet…..

I really enjoy the no nonsense pace and flow of your videos....others seems to drag on and on with constant commentary... Yours are the best!

This house is perfect. I would be able to move my disabled mom in with me and still have my privacy and she would have hers and I would be able to make sure she was taken cared of. I need this house.

I love these gen homes! I saw one in person and fell in love with them. Not many builders do these type of homes.

743K is the most spectacular thing about this home. There was nothing that grabbed my attention, for everything was plain & basic. Upgrades would probably be a arm & a leg. Well I did like the fact the linen closet in the Apt suite was across the laundry room and no HOA. This is to much money, even for this part of the country. I've seen better in Texas and else where. Okay, I'm not the only one. Lol. For the house to look that big on the outside, I was not expecting to walk in and you'd be in the kitchen. It also has way to many door in one narrow hallway. Not to mention the small size of the master, and why so many different tiles in the master shower. Lastly there should have been a longer distance from the man home to the apartment. Like a long er hallway, it's like you went to the kids room and opened another door and you're now in grandmas kitchen.

Absolutely *LOVE* the exterior of this home! Also, love the fact that it's a single story. I see so few one stories posted, I guess they are rare in TX. We live in CA & most homes in this area are single story.

@@nafisehlady Largely, a second story is above the first, you get their mainly by stairs or ladder or elevator. To be considered a “full second story” home, the area downstairs needs to continue upstairs and sprawl the entire area of the bottom floor.

Good morning Sir happy Sunday to you also.... Absolutely a Beautiful House.

Like it so far but for me I make changes as in walls and roof in game room for better area play for a pool table and area for small bar with a refrigerator so you didn’t have to keep going up and down maybe a half bath. Master bath move cabinets over and do a bigger long tub inside shower that was bigger. In garage are and outlets for upright freezer seeing there is no room in laundry room or pantry room. One door in bedrooms and make the a pocket door for space saving. Move toilet over so they aren’t so close to wall where you can have leg room. In apartment do would do in between stud storage to items and towels, use hall closet for a food pantry. Add long upper window in kitchen wall for more lighting. More one garage over to side of apartment so you didn’t have get wet r be cold on bad weather days and not walking so far with all your groceries. Love your home mostly because you do r put air vents in the floors.

OVERSIGHT: The apartment which potentially is an inlaw suite does not take into consideration needing te use of a wheelchair or walker in the shower, or other areas of the apartment such as doors that open the incorrect way and blocking access to the small narrow hall. In the event of such a need renders 35% of the apartment inaccessible.

I ws looking and loving this space with the setback of this house not being accommodating for someone with a wheelchair. Immediately saw this as perfect for multi-gen fam but sometimes that comes with disability/handicap needs for sure

That separate suite is perfect for parents. Privacy plus closeness. I would love this house. But I'm in Wisconsin and can't move.

I like the apt separation good if you have kids and want to host friends and play music or you could make it a home office headquarters I would put a residential door on the inside to visualize the separation!!!!

Mother in law suite has no living room and closet space way too small. House is nice but not enough space for me.

there needs to definitely be more like this where the bathrooms are designed for wheelchair accessibility. Beautiful multi-gen one stories are needed more and more these days

I was thinking, "it's too much space to clean". The apartment is cute but a lil too small. I think a bigger bathroom. Walk-in shower, 2 sinks and a taller toilet. One more bedroom as well. Says she (me)who lives in a motel. We all can wish tho.

Beautiful home. As to the apartment that’s built on. Did they install a tall toilet? Tall toilets are really best for all of us. They are chair height. Which I believe is just around 17 inches to 18 inches tall. When you look for a handicapped or tall toilet It’s difficult to find just how tall that is. I’ve done my research and needed to buy one. Most of the toilets will just say that they are tall toilets, but do not give you the height that they are. So anyone purchasing a tall toilet do your research and make sure it’s actually tall and not just 16 inches tall. The added 2 inches make a difference. My comments about the toilet height are actually for adults. Of course you would not need a tall toilet for a toddler.

The older I get ,54, I realize the toilet seats are awfully close to the floor. Too low. If I'm out and about, I hope the "handicap" stall is free when the need is present.

I love the apartment suite. However, due to frequency of visiting guests and often at large #'s all at once AND because we all like to be together - we'd need a 2 bedroom, apartment addition. Take out the hall closet in the 'apartment', make a hallway and add the second bedroom to accommodate 4 bunks. Also, the game room needs a bathroom so, kids aren't constantly coming downstairs. I viewed a house, in Tennessee, that had a large enough 'game room' above the garage that accommodated a large walk in closet, a large full bathroom and had 4 twin size beds as well a closet cabinet next to each bed and a night stand AND still had plenty of room for other furniture, a ping pong table, air hockey table AND a pool table - and there was STILL room to spare. It was HUGE! Then, there were 4 more bedrooms on the main level with 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath or powder room off of the garage. I have 6 kids; 3 are adults, 1 is married. I have a sister in Tennessee with 8 children so...we'd always need to make adjustments somewhere to accommodate for sleeping arrangements.😉 Love it though!

Everything is fine except I do not like the tub in the main bathroom! Second Mom and Dad can have the apartment suite! That's awesome with their own entrance! They can have their own space if they want to but still be with us! I like it!
