Love this contest idea! My favorite out of the two is the sci-fi one. But your ability to have two concepts with the same image is a great reminder to never let one idea be where your imagination stops. Keep running it! Much love brother.

The dark mist you added to the bottom of the first one was incredible! Really gave the whole composition a distinct tone. Can’t wait to take part in this :)

I love the rock tortoise! Both are very interesting concepts, but I prefer the one with the tortoise since the satellite on the other one just looks a bit out of place for me lol

Short to us, but not for him lol. It takes most of us 5x longer or so than it does for him because he knows exactly what he's doing. Used to beat myself about that stuff, how some designs I spend 10+ hours on and still doesn't look as good as something he would spend an hour on, etc. always felt like I was just "slow" but in reality most of that time I spent was experimenting, learning what works and what doesn't, etc. like I said he has so much experience that he can just get exactly what he wants pretty easily so not much tinkering for him as it would be for people who doesn't have the amount of knowledge and work experience he has.

@@MindofInstincts Totally agree with you, and spending 10 hours+ on something is actually a good thing. In the time, those 10 hours of discovering the techniques in depth will surely pay off!

The second one was mind blowing to me. You just added some city lights inside a canyon and if i hadnt seens the process, i would have thought that you actually put some buildings inside of it, which is quite time consuming. This the sign of a master. Btw, I am glad u added the element of "engagement/involvment" in your videos. I am sure it will pay off soon. Keep it up

So excited for this phase!! I have a question how much can we manipulate rock, like can we make it completely unidentica(ofc by using stock images not by removing it) l also can we replace the sky completely... Or just manipulation is allowed. Sorry if questions sounds dumb😭

Great to hear Satva! I would work around the composition like I have done in my examples. Fill the sky and manipulate the rock as much as you like just as long as you don't remove those elements completely. Again, my ideas are there as a guide :)

I wanted to participate, but I saw your video on Monday. Didn't get time to work on weekdays. Please declare competitions on mid-week days.

I feel really bad for asking, but I don't wanna miss out on anything just incase. Are we allowed to resize the image like making it bigger to add more to the landscape or cropping it, or should the overall scale remain the same? Annndd if the scale should remain the same, are we allowed to resize the assets themselves?

I hope the entry from today counts. Btw can u please tell which time we should follow?

The size of the image have to be the same or we can for exemple make it more wide?

Both are fantastic but my tastes usually always lean a little more epic fantasy rather than Sci Fi. I'm going to try this... 😬

I have a préférence for the technological rock I find it more stylish and unique and especially it looks more like you in my opinion, in any case I am eager to see the works of other artists, if I have time I will try to participate because it motivates me. This concept of collaboration is great, But where are the glasses :-D

Haha the glasses will still make an appearance here or there😎 Yeah have a go, I spent 50mins(ish) on both pieces. Sometimes when I hit a creative wall I find it useful to set the timer to 1hr and then see what I can create in that time. Good exercise.
