Homelander is a classic narcissist, grass is always greener is their baseline personality. He probably preferred Stillwell to Stormfront, Old 7 to new 7, Old Noir to New Noir. If he **got rid** of New Noir then the replacement wouldn't stack up to both Old/New Noirs. He doesn't miss the people though, only what they do for him.

i do feel like this noir and the old noir is basically two sides of the same coin, while both have different personalities. they're still both a psycho in their own way. noir didn't react all that humane when he killed those superfans with bats, even with his talk with a train after, he really isnt THAT disturbed that he killed for the first time dare i say even more enthutiastically than deep and a train himself

Note that his actions don't match up. He was the first to kill with the bat, brutalized the body to boot, and then killed a second guy when A-train was doubting. I swear this Deadpool stick is just an act to throw everyone off onto taking him lightly.
