Fantastic content today and I’m very interested in the future videos that demonstrate this in use. Thanks for keeping things interesting! Edited to add that I have reached out to SFI requesting more information and mentioning this video in my request. 2nd edit to say I received a response in about 5 minutes from my request that was not an automated reply, the response mentioned specific details of my request and answered every question that I asked. That is incredible customer support and I’m sure represents what to expect from SFI. Very impressive in today’s market if you ask me.

Looking forward to seeing you put this machine to use. Perfect size baler for small farmers and I assume a decent entry level price.

allis chambers had a small round baler back in the late 60's - round bales then never took off ,

Yeah, the bales weren't large enough weather well in the field (humid climates) or to handle with a tractor, and they were more difficult to handle by hand than small square bales.

You're right you don't need a big tractor to bale hay, you just need a big bank account to afford the equipment to do so LOL. You'd need a tractor large enough to lift 900+ pounds according to the website.....too bad it isn't just a regular pin style hitch rather than needing a 3 point hitch, otherwise you could use a sub-compact tractor with that baler. I mean I have no use for a baler, but would be something fun to do on a small scale on the side for people who have small fields that the big hay guys won't touch or can't get their large equipment into.

2011 was a drought in Texas and Oklahoma. It was a great year for us because people were able to get this baler between and under trees, in ditches and other tight places to bale hay. They said it paid for itself in one season because they did not have to buy hay.
