In ALL the yard maintenance channels I’ve watched, the two of you have worked the hardest. Your work was extremely thorough and impeccable. i put the stuff back in there yard & tell them they have a week to pay up to pay double the price.... if they bitch they not paying double tell them this is nice house i hate to put a hold on it with those cars as will but i will.. so if i was u pay ur bill if not then everyone will know u are a rip off who cant be trust to pay a bill

In the USA, there is such court action called Mechanic's Lien," so if homeowner ever tries to sell the home they will have a problem and no clear title .. and, of course, small claims up to $5k. Good luck. Blessings.

They absolutely will have to pay for the work completed. At least you have video evidence of the works that took place, the machinery required to get the job done and the hard work you guys did to tidy up this tired and overgrown landscape. You guys did an awesome job.

Please do this, and you will be in the right, and respected for doing, so. I am ashamed to think someone in my age group would have the ability to do this to two overactive and hard-working men. I am sitting in a wheelchair wondering how I can get 1/8th. of your energy and strength. I do not care how old a person is, they should pay you, then the fiddler. As hard as you guys worked, there is no possible way you didn't do enough and the homeowner knows it! I don't believe he had any intention of paying you to begin with! What more did he expect, his yard isn't that large and doesn't look like it needs anything else. You have greatly improved the property with what you did! Take him to court, there is no way you could lose and I would request he pay all legal fees! Maybe that will teach him a lesson if all this costs him more that the amount agreed to in the beginning! I would have never went back, they will be dissatisfied no matter what you do, they are cheap scammers, you should have gotten at least half the money before you even touched that job.

Speaking as a gardener myself and has done many jobs like this, it isnt easy by any means its alot of hard work lots can and usually do go wrong. Youve done a fantastic job there and literally what more did he expect you to do, tile the bathroom? Paint the kitchen??? I sympathize with you because ive had customers like that too. You can do absolutely everything and it still isn't good enough.

As a contractor, if you promise a client, OR make a client believe that you will do a certain thing.....and you do not do it, the client feels deceived/misled/lied to. And some clients don't take lightly to this. Seems like the client believed that the stumps along the fence would have been dug up...and they weren't. The client probably feared that with the stumps still in the ground, the trees might spring new shoots...or the grass wont grow. So we have to understand the clients perspective as well.

That customer is horrible for not paying you for all of your hard work!! I sincerely hope you get every Penny that is owed to you. You did a bang up job and deserve full payment. If it were my home I would have offered you a tip as well

After watching the video I had to go lay down because I was exhausted! As always your work speaks for itself precise meticulous and thorough! In saying all of this them not paying you for your work or services rendered says more about them than it does about you!😊 Everyone watches KZread and the best thing to happen to them is the neighbors will see the video and see that their word is not good and they don't pay their bills! You could ask another professional to quote how much they would charge and take them to court with you and sue the owner that's a lot of good work and high quality well done guys x

OMG 😳 I about died just from watching you guys dig up all those hedges and in the middle of a rain storm no less! Mind you I'm 65 years old and disabled 🤣 but HOLY CRAP!! Both of you probably needed a good soak in a hot whirlpool due to all your body aches and sore muscles. Well done guys.

This was the most difficult job I’ve ever seen done! It was huge! You, by far, completed the job most well... show it to a judge! The man must pay you in full... I was exhausted just watching! Best wishes in your suit against the man...

Only 9 minutes into the video and the house owner has been seen twice observing (and probably criticising) what you’re doing. Major red flags on the type of person you’re working for imo. As everyone else has said take them to court and don’t let them get away with treating you like this. They probably pull this kind of thing all the time! I giggled at your comment. I've always been one who watches people I hire work. Not because I'm criticizing their work, but because I'm nosey about how professionals do things and obviously (since I watch this type of videos) I enjoy seeing it in progress. But, I got the criticizing vibes from the homeowners, as well. Theirs didn't seem like "enjoying the process".. it seemed like negative eyeballing to me.

I watch contractors like a damn hawk, as so many of them are cowboys and don’t have a damn clue wha they are doing. The last 2 contractors I had replace my fence and do some major gardening worth thousands were both cowboys and had to be thrown off the job for ignoring every single thing specified, then wanting even more than quoted. So yeah., watch, ask police questions, offer tea/coffee if it’s a cold day and make sure they are following the job spec and not destroying your home. It took me 11 weeks to fix what the last idiots did and costs me £2500, just in hire equipment alone, as I couldn’t do it on my own!

I cannot believe for a second any judge watching this thinks you did not do enough. You definitely did more than enough and all your equipment you need has to be maintained, including you transport. It is shocking to me that he could refuse. He should pay your court costs too or you will Still be out of pocket. You both did a fantastic job. There is no denying that. 👍

You always do great work, including in this case! The dishonest customer should be ordered by court to pay for the work.

I am shocked! Usually nothing under the sun surprises me. To try to keep the contracted money is worse than bad business & they appear to be without ethics as well. I bet you quoted them an unbelievable price as in a very low amount for the labor & the time & effort...how can people sleep at night? It is unconsciable. If the judge views before & after,he will have to decide in the Blessing Boys favor,unless he is visually impaired. I pray for you & your sons & your wife who keeps a low profile & pray God will continue to watch over you & protect you from harm & evil. We live in a different world today with too much lawlessness & people acting without thought & without any conscious thought of right & wrong. Dear homeowner, I certainly hope that it was just an oversight on your part and you forgot to write the check for this outstanding job. Those two hard working, professional landscapers did back breaking labor for you. They are highly regarded by all their customers. Their work is impeccable. They had to remove a massive amount of debris and left your lawn clean and neat. They even worked in a torrential downpour for you. Most landscapers would have refused to do such monumental tree removal. Here in the USA, that job would have cost at least $10,000 US dollars. I believe that every time you look out at your yard you will realize that you could never have maintained those trees any longer and that you were really lucky to have the job so beautifully done by these extraordinary men. You now have more light, and a larger yard. Once the grass grows in, your yard will be lovely. Your neighbors are probably grateful that those monsters have been removed too. I know that you will write out their check gratefully and thank them for all their hard work. God Bless you.

Remarkable job! You guys worked very very hard and did a great job. If you and he did not discuss a price adjustment because you were not removing the roots from the line along the fence, he owes you for the full amount. It's not like you didn't earn it. You both worked extremely hard at this project and it turned out fabulous!

What a great workout, both of you do an amazing job, very organized and clean.

The two of you did an absolutely extraordinary job on the removal of the cedars and junipers, removing roots and debris, disposing of all the trimmings, tree trunks and clippings, and finally adding too soil and seeding, turning in the seed and lightly rolling it to maximize seed/soil contact. For the homeowner to suggest, that sufficient work wasn’t done to warrant paying for the job is despicable and preposterous!!! I hope you take them to court, with your video footage of the entire job, as proof of work completed.! It is outrageous that these homeowners had the audacity not to pay for the job! You two are some of the hardest working and talented landscape contractors I have ever seen ! Keep up the good work, and I wish you success in getting paid for such an amazing job!!!

I can’t imagine not wanting the hedge along the side with the neighbor’s yard being right there.

You did a great job as you always do. Should this person ever have the audacity to contact you again, I'm thinking that your schedule will just be too busy to accommodate his request! You should always be paid for the work you do.

Anyone watching can observe the work put in, the conditions you worked under with the bad weather and someone eyeballing you and your helper continuously. Great job! And well-done/complete at that. Fine show of expertise and logical care for the lawn afterwards with hedges and large bush cut away. I was impressed by the hard work and specific care you showed through the video. I would have been so grateful and honored to have such a transformation made in MY yard! Some people cannot be satisfied: those folks will be unhappy and critical no matter what. Their problem is NOT of your making or responsibility. You deserve to be compensated for this- that's the way a client demonstrates the requisite approval- with the consumer dollar. Wrong of them to withhold what you have rightfully earned. Thank you so much for your comment on this video. unfortunately sometimes there are clients like this, although this is the first time I have not been paid for a job, but I think he didn't intend it. But I am looking into the issue and hopefully I will resolve it soon!

He didn't want to pay for the work as he thought we hadn't done everything, but yet last week he transferred the money for the job. Thank you!

It's unbelievable what people expect nowadays. They should have done it themselves. You darn near broke your back for the owner. Keep on doing what you are doing for people that appreciate you. That one or two that complain, walk away with pride. It's on them not you. I'm surely happy I watched this video ❤ Besides that it was the owners neglect to allow all of that to grow like that.

Isn't there a way that you can sue the customer to get paid what they'd contracted you for? Take this video to court with you, to show the judge all of the work you did, and the final way you left the yard!

In the US you can put a lean on their property till you get paid. Y'all did an amazing job! 😊❤️🙏

Small claims court if you have one. You deserve every penny. You both very much deserve it. Shame on the owner for trying to cheat you.

@@sharonycampbell6884, This is what I found about putting a lien against someone else’s property till they pay back that person they owe, “The short answer is no. If somebody owes you money, you can sue them, you can obtain a judgment, a judgment lien. It gets a court record against that property, when the owner decides to sell their home or refinance their property, then they have to pay you”. The bad thing is that property owner can turn around and file a lawsuit called, “quiet title”, against him if they feel wrongfully sued or slandered. It might not be something in other countries. I’m sure he’ll win either way he sues or reports it to their court system. I wish him luck! 😁

You did an amazing job getting that mess cleaned out. There is no way you could have dug out the roots on those large trees. The owners sound like people who want something for nothing. I cannot believe they didn't pay you. In the future maybe you should get payment up front or at least partial. It is so hard to get something if there isn't an agreement in writing. You need to do what tradesmen do here in England, if the bugger doesn't pay bring the trees back and dump them in the garden. I think the job was well done and professional keep up the good work.
