Colombo always gets his man or woman!
I grew up in the 90's. When I saw this room, the 4 post bed, the color scheme, furniture, even the lights on the mirror. It's a time capsule of 90's interior design. Obviously this is a mansion and surrounded by money so the implication is that every choice was intentional and very much in keeping with the style of the time. The way the killer is dressed, his hair, all of it. And 1970's Columbo is just wandering around and doing his thing :) This show is nostalgic for me in so many ways. But 2 years ago I got Columbo on DVD and swiftly rewatched all of it. When we got here it was just another warm feeling. I love this show. And I love seeing how many others still do. Also the addition of Hector Salamanca was icing on the cake.

For those that don't know, this is from 'Columbo Cries Wolf', which is one of my all time favorite Columbo episodes. Up there among my favorite episodes as well. Another odd one that's one of my favorites is "Forgotten Lady" -- the only episode where Columbo doesn't arrest the murderer. Such a tragic ending. You can say it's due to the theme of the series, but every now and then some of the crooks do try to take him down. It's just that most if not all the antagonists are high in society and are wealthy, they can't just shoot someone without making sure their tracks are covered.
