This is absolute facts. They’re often the same guys who moan about “nice guys finished last, boo hoo I’m so unlucky girls don’t like nice guys”. What they don’t realise is many girls like ACTUALLY nice guys who are being nice just to be nice and respectful, not being nice just cause they think they’ll get sex or whatever else in return. I met a guy once that reminds me so much of skippy in some ways. It was the first day of uni, I didn't know anyone (except this one girl, but we didn't share the same classes) and they organised a "special day" where they were going to make us play a bunch of games (like speed-dating, and other stuff) to get us all to know each other. So they split us all in random groups and I happened to be with this guy. I gotta say, he was very pleasant and had a nice personality, and I just thought he was really funny, and since I didn't know anybody I didn't mind that he was basically following me around and trying to interact with me a lot at first, figured it would be nice to have a new friend. But I'm the type of person that likes to meet a lot of people, and after a while I felt like eveytime a guy would show some kind of interest in me, or would just talk to me in a friendly way, he would just pop up out of nowhere and try to"sabotage" him, which was kinda weird, but I didn't really think too much of it, as I'm not that interested in guys anyway. But after a whole day of following me around, this guy made a weird joke, where he implied that he was "flirting" with me(?) Wich I didn't really get cause I was being very clear on the fact that I wanted us to be friends (I literally told him that it was nice that we stayed friends, cause I didn't really know anyone there), and I never flirted with him or showed him ANY sign that I was interested, he was the one that was basically following me around. Long story short the man tried to follow me home (mind you, this is the first day that we met) I had to literally tell him to get off at his stop, and he was like "haha, you really want me to go huh?" Yeah man, go to your own house , wtf?. He texted me afterwards, to check up on me, to which I answered. Then the next day, he asked me how my day went and I wanted to answer him later (I was mith my family at the time), but then he called me and tried to face time me, which who the fuck does that? We JUST met yesterday, and I haven't even answerd your texts. I don't even do that with some of my friends lmao. He kept on harrasing me days after with messages that I didn't answer to, because I wanted to be CLEAR that I didn't want anything with him, cause I felt like he was getting the wrong idea. and he just one day said "thank you for ghosting me" again, no answer. Then he spoke to this friend of mine and told her "hey I saw that you follow so and so on instagram, are you her friend?" (Never gave him my insta) she told him that we were friends, cause we went to the same highschool, and he told her that I stopped texting him, and gave her a whole sob story on how I ghosted him and basically told her that he just wanted to check up on me, and to ask me why I don't text him (again, we spoke for 1 day, thought you were creepy, and cut you off. It isn't that deep, move on, people come and go). And when I met up with this girl, she told me this, and I was SO embarassed, cause why the fuck are you talking about me to other people? And I'm not even THAT close with this girl in the first place😭. Long story short, he kept on texting me even weeks after, one day he told me "was it you at X bus stop this morning? I thought I saw you".... I met him a couple of times in uni, and I always run away from him. he always tries to make eye-contact with me, and I always avoid him or straight up run away from him, one time at this event, even thou I was ignoring his staring, and had to distance myself from him more then 4 times, he still approached me in front of everyone and tried to speak with me, I had to dodge the whole conversation in an abrupt way, cause I literally ghosted you? What else do you want from me? And for every guy that's like "girls only think that guys are creepy when they are unattractive" this guys was very conventionally unattractive and he was overweight, but the whole time during that day, even thou there were many red flags, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, and be his friend. Cause when it comes to making friendships, I don't care about looks tf, nobody should. The truth is that, as a girl, when you're nice to an unattractive guy, he suddenly starts getting super clingy and desperate, and thinks he has a chance or something, just cause you UCKOWLEDGED him. That's why a lot of unattractive men come off as creepy. Most girls just don't want to hurt your feelings, that doesn't mean they want you inside them thou🤣🤣.

Seems like he definitely doesn’t have a ton of friends, and social interaction in general. Unfortunately for him, he probably has that clingy mentality because of that. And has probably convinced himself he will “never be enough” for anyone. It sucks because, as a person who used to be about 300lbs (now 185), I learned this quickly through middle school and high school, that since I was overweight I was “conventionally unattractive”. Luckily my personality is naturally outgoing and humble, so I’ve always been social and had a lot of friends. So I no longer have that negative mentality. Not saying you have to burden yourself with worrying about that, because he was a creep 100%. But, hopefully he works on himself and can gain that self awareness. Maybe you did something positive for him to change for the better.

I had a crush on a guy that was my friend at the time, but I would have never acted like skippy or this guy, once I understood that this guy didn't really like me like that it hurt, but I just let it go. I was even a little bit embarrased cause I must have put him in an uncomfortable situation. I never forced my presence onto anyone, so I can't really excuse this type of behaviour, that' s just called being inconsiderate, self-centered and creepy af, but I understand what you mean.

There's a huge lesson for women in this. This is the kind of guy who will stalk you for years after the "date" so be very careful. When you go on a date do not have him pick you up from your home address. And when discussing personal details do not be specific about where you work. Also, make an excuse to leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable but do not be rude or antagonise him. After chatting online, I went on a date with a guy exactly like this back in 2013 and he has made my life hell ever since to the point where I've had to take out a non-molestation order and get the police involved. He has contacted my employer on numerous occasions as well as standing outside the gym I go to as I'd mentioned that I'd worked out there. He's even messaged my parents on social media telling them he is in love with me and will kill himself if I don't respond. I've had to deactivate all my social media accounts, switched gyms and am always looking over my shoulder.

I feel you for what youve gone through and able to take precautions to protect yourself so full props for that. This date you've been on long ago and the date with Skippy you just watched on this video i can honestly say the only difference i can see between the 2 is that Skippy as much as he displays such obviousness and lack of awareness in the way he conducts himself he didnt convey anything that intended to be malicious and certainly didnt intend to enact any harm and danger to his date. The only thing i can see him being guilty of is not taking the initiative to fully become aware of his conditions and the longer he keeps doing what he's doing it will be too late to fully overcome his behavioural issues. I very much doubt he'd even have a clue how to even overpower any female as it doesn't match his demeanor and character. Again i fully empathise with what you've gone through, but just cos a guy like Skippy displays no awareness on what he says n does doesn't mean he is capable of trying to take advantage over a female through other sinister means. Every comment i see about Skippy always state that he will be a danger to other women and capable of performing things of a nasty nature to other women. Being awkward and naive to women on dates doesn't mean your fully able to commit rape or assault.

Yep couldn't be more right. She weren't that great tbh. I dont do drugs and she's a stoner. She didn't have anything going for her. She tried tricking me into taking edibles...when im driving. And she was on her phone the whole time. Then she actually asked me if I would see her again because she said she really liked me. I said yeah because at the time I was in a very dark place with my ex passing from a seizure and I did actually think this girl was physically attractive. But then eventhough we'd talk and shit she asked me to call her. I called but she didn't answer. Then she left me on read for 2 weeks. And then removed me on sc, added me back then blocked me. I got out of a long term relationship and literally 2 weeks later a guy who I thought was a friend text me asking me out to "Catch up" and then proceeded to tell everyone we were going on date and he was really excited about it. Once I heard about it I had to tell him I didn't see him like that and that I was actually really pissed off that he would think I would jump into dating 2 weeks after a breakup. Thee definition of a "nice guy". Never again will I hang out with a male friend unless it's a group thing.

The dude is fueled by desperation and resentment and "hides" it behind smiles to try to trick women into being with him. Aba & Preach are right, he doesn't see these women as people, only goals. He may actually be a psychopath with the lack of empathy on display here.

I’m going through something like this rn. This guy that’s been my friend for the past month, that I have told “we are only friends” told another one of our friends that we were pseudo dating… he apparently said this a couple weeks ago. Now I’m very creeped out bc I’ve told him on many occasions I don’t not like him more than just a platonic friendship. I’m dating his roommate and I still catch him staring at me.
