You cant serve God if you are serving yourself. This is a Bible study I did and preached it to the Church I go to on Sunday, June 9, 2024. I discuss a couple of subjects to make a point, that we only have so much room in our hearts, so give that room to The Lord Jesus Christ.
Mankind can only serve one master. Whatever is in your heart, that is what you will serve. We must examine ourselves and allow Jesus to show us what we have on the table of our hearts so that we may throw away the trash and start living in accordance with God's will.
It is a battle against the world and ourselves for the rest of our lives to live as a Christian, but that is okay, because Jesus has won the battle. Have faith in Jesus' finished work on the cross, believe on him and he will change your heart, and change your life. Amen.
