Curse (the one with the boots) is someone who comes from a troubled life, and as such, he tries helping others through their issues. Mallediction seems to be him not understand BF is too dumb and too stupid to not have any issues and thinking he has to force the answers out of him. That's my take on it anyways.

The only real thing that qualifies him as an "exe" is him being afflicted with the Curse of X, which is basically something you can use to sic Curse on your enemies, and something he also has zero control over. Poor lad has dealt with a lot. Still one of my personal favorites. And if you liked him, keep an eye out for a FNF mod called Illegial Instruction.

The final Escape mod is so well done. I really love the mechanic with the goal buttons. Definitely reminds me of how hitting a goal in a special stage or a bonus stage was such a pain in the butt back then. Also it isn't really from the actual Sonic.EXE 3.0 build. It was originally going to be but it was never finished. We were only given the unfinished instrumental of the song and a close concept of what it would all look like and some big fans of it decided to make this mod by using what we were given. They even had some of their own ideas which they implemented to make it more interesting. It is the closest we'll get to Final Escape.

What i absolutely love is how the health bar gets turned around, so your icon 'runs away' from Xenophanes(?) and the more you miss (and the enemy singing) he gets closer.

The funny part is that there is so many characters that we haven’t gotten mods about There two known characters that were given their separate mods now Which is illegal instruction and fatal files We’ll just have to wait for vs Sonic.exe rerun now for more vs sonic.exe content Edit: also, substantial, (the song that didn’t work in the build) has a mod that fixes it and the song and character are really cool!

Ohungi suffered the same fate! He branched off of Gapple and it was easily one of the best ideas ever. After he split away, we got awesome songs like Combi-Combo and Splingo Groinglo Jam!

QT Mod memories i guess

i love how the goal mechanic doesn't kill you, it just brings you right back to the beginning, or how you have to jump in order to dodge the hand from sonic.exe/xeno's mouth, i LOVE IT.

I'm still going to miss this mod, as I got sympathy to the devs. Yes, Cursed (from Malediction) is friendly (for my own understanding), and yes, you misheard his lines in his track 🗿

Final Escape is actually the Final Act of the main storyline for EXE 3.0, after Triple Trouble against Xeno.

Welp...it was done in one month...by one guy I think...though he did seem to use a lot of parts other people took from the mod and completed. I'm not complaining though...it's like 2 and a half hours long.

Cursed is the sonic in the boots and is a very wholesome character. He tries to be a rat of sunshine yo all but before that. Cursed is an EXE that isnt possessed, but met an unfortunate circumstance. He got in a landslide which broke both of his legs and killed his friend Knuckles. He was blamed for the death of his friend, especially by Tails who goes out of his way to Stalk and mentally Torment Sonic. In light of all of this Robitnik, or Eggman, quits his evil ways and uses his Robots and Metal Sonic for good. Later... Cursed is met with and affected by the 'Curse of X' which makes everyone who he loves and appreciates who are around him... die. This kills Sally and Robotnik until Metal Sonic helps hide away Cursed from everyone. Eventually this leads to now where Cursed squares up against BF. What he says in the song: "Somethings Wrong... and You wont hide it from Me!" "Let's Get It" "Everythings..... Ok? Then.. can we... Try Again?"

♡I believe curse (sonic with boots) has a very sad backstory in which a failed attempt in fighting egg man went horribly wrong and when he woke up again he found tails but when he looked at him in the eyes he was absorbed so he normally wears a mask to avoid sucking anybody else up.(I don't really remember much about his backstory so if you want the full story there are some vids on yt that explain it)♡

2:03 his name is curse because if you see the bandages an his legs is because he broke his legs so he can't run as fast as he use to run and he has curse for that reason and what the curse does is everytime one of his friends talk to him the curse takes over his body and ends up killing them so EGGMAN decided to be good by using his robots to help him like metal sonic and Sally helps her too but the curse obviously killed them but metal sonic gets EGGMAN teleportation gun so sonic a.k.a curse couldn't kill anybody else even curse agreed on metal's sonic idea.

curse is actually a really sad story. lol curse is basically sonic but he got crushed by a landslide losing his ability to run and if he tries to run will lose the ability to walk in general, knuckles died in the landslide and everyone blames sonic, even tails, robotnik eventually turns into sonic's ally, reworking his machines to help sonic live a functional life and do sonic's old job as a hero. sonic gets plagued by a curse called the "curse of X" which kills anyone who gets close to sonic, two people who were close to sonic die, including robotnik so he decides to isolate himself completely by getting metal sonic's assistance to grab robotnik's portal gun and transport him to another dimention so nobody can fall to his curse.

Hey nenna if you want to know the lore from curse ( sonic in boots ). Curse was not always called curse. It started when sonic and knuckles were on the mountain. Then their was a avalanche came. Sonic was found sonics friends were confused why they only see sonic. Sonic told them that he did not make it. They we're saying that it was he's fault he die. So sonic was made fun of and pike on. Even tails was doing it to. On the mother side egg man stop his evil to help sonic and one of girls ( I forgotten how to spell her name) not amy, or cream, but you know.but then she died from helping sonic. Then egg man died to from helping sonic. So sonic now know he was CURSE he thought going away was going to work but the CURSE stayed with him. Then he found BF and GF. Also curse (sonic waering boots) had broken her two legs and fist. Your welcome. :)

fun fact: majin sonic is actually not evil OR good! In the old times game developers werent allowed to credit their selfs properly. so when they were working on the game, one of the developers wanted to puzt a funni little easter egg in it, so he added the majin sonic screen into the sound code. Majin actually doesnt mean demon or evil, its actually a last name of the developer that added the majin sonic screen into the game, and he tried to somehow draw his face on the majin sonics, thats why majin sonics face looks so human like.
