The were raced the very next day. The GT40 seems to have other problems, but the Lola recovered and finished in 4th place.

As a 5.2L V10, I can confirm that this is the best sounding engine ever.

AHAHAH, clearly not. There so many engines with a better sound than VAG V10. Lexus LFA, Porsche Carerra Gt, Matra MS670, Alfa Montreal. I could list so many more.

The xjs is such an underrated car imo, it’s like the brit muscle car. A local auto restoration shop near us sold a 90,000 mile all original decent condition car for like $15k, in comparison to the similar condition v12 e-type that they sold for nearly $100k
