We're more likely to see an Ali v Frazier rematch than a Fury v Usyk fight

@@keyser5016 you’re forgetting at this point that Fury has more money than he can probably spend. The only thing that matters to him at this stage of his career, with it nearly over, is remaining unbeaten. And he knows Usyk is the bogeyman who can move and tap him with scoring shots and beat him on points. He wants the bragging rights for life of being unbeaten, that’s what means the most to him right now. I swear if he hasn’t felt right, and knew he wouldn’t be right by fight night, he would do anything to get a way out and get extra time to prepare. It’s too important to his ego to remain unbeaten. The thing is, I don’t know if Fury CAN get to 100% where he’s been in the past, because it’s so long since he was having to get in shape to 100%. He’s literally older now and has had easy defences with whyte and Chisora, and he took Ngannou lightly. Getting to 100% may be impossible for him now. And if that’s the case he’s in trouble. Because he can’t duck out of the next date. He would never live it down.

@@Auty1973Fury has always been terrified of losing a single fight. It’s well known fact. He’s only fought Klitschko & Wilder because he’s had to. Everyone else he’s fought were easy opponents who he knew he should beat. But Usyk, Usyk has always been ‘that guy’ that Fury knows has the sheer boxing ability to beat him on points. He’d never ko Fury, everyone knows that. But that’s not the fear. The fear is losing a fight. You see, Fury wants the bragging rights for LIFE after he retires, so he’s determined to retire with that precious ‘unbeaten’ record. However- he MUST fight Usyk AND Joshua to become undisputed and the best of his era. He’s close to retiring from boxing now. These two fights could be his last. But never has his unbeaten record been so at risk. Fury knows in his own heart his huge ego will never handle a loss on his record. It’ll literally destroy him. All the money he’s made will mean nothing. It’s those bragging rights that mean everything to a man with an ego the size of Fury’s. I personally believe that Fury wasn’t feeling ready at all to face Usyk, and with just 2 weeks until the fight, he wanted a way out. And there’s only one way out at that late stage and that’s a cut injury. And sure enough, he gets a bad cut. I think he will face Usyk, BUT, he will have so much more time to get ‘right’ before the fight now. Which he wouldn’t have had before. Plus, Usyk may fight another opponent in the meantime, meaning he will be even more shopworn when he fights Fury. It also gives Fury another good look at the current form that Usyk is in prior to the fight. So there are very clear advantages to a postponement for Fury. And don’t be thinking they wouldn’t cut him. They would.

All bollocks - no sparring cut, no elbow - no nothing. Watch the deliberately grainy video footage which conveniently closed before effective assessment of the alleged “cut”. Following all the criticism, suddenly in a panic, Fury declares a postponed date - there’s a surprise! - and after many experts predicted the fight wouldn’t happen anyway because Fury is scared of Usyk - deservedly so. Fury should lose his belt and retire/ be banned - disgraceful

No in his latest interview he doesnt care where he is ranked in the all time heavyweights, 'put me at 1000, put me at the bottom'....says now he just wants to make money. A few interviews back, he didnt care about money 'i couldnt spend it in a thousand lifetimes'....same as the other lad, 'i'm done fighting youtubers, now i want to be a world chsmpion'....now youtubers are the only ones paying decent money so no interest in becoming a champion! Gotta say, Fury looks in THE best shape we have seen him in a decade. He is obviously taking Usyk, or at least the opportunity to be unified champion, VERY seriously.

Nah, reach isn't everything. Speed, timing and intelligence can counter reach advantage. Fury struggled with his last cruiserweight opponent AND his last southpaw.

Fury is vulnerable to Southpaws - cuts often evolve same spot getting hit. This is where Fury got cut by Wallen. Obviously if 2nd tier southpaws have found the opening - Usyk will have no problem. Barry looks very fit for 61.
