I made a very similar deck but it's more of an old hazmat sentry deck with enchantress and man-thing thrown in. My favorite archetype is back 😁

That white pixel is actually "Thing", and the green swamp monster is "man". Hence the name: "Man-Thing"

I honestly thought Man thing affected all locations and only your opponent and figured it might still struggle to be viable considering the prevalence of Luke and Killmonger (among the several other ways to counter it off) To see it winning games while only affecting a single location makes me happy to see!

Luke Cage has honestly been a saviour for me with the amount of high evo decks I've encountered.

I'd love to see your take on an offensive (in both senses of the word) Destroy Deck. Man-Thing + Lady Deathstrike makes for a lovely combo if you're lucky. Here's what I have so far (apologies, my work email decided to block my deck share from the game). 1 Elektra 2 Forge 3 Magik 3 Gambit 3 Jean Grey 3 Negasonic Teenage Warhead 4 Shang Chi 4 Man-thing 5 Lady Deathstrike 6 Knull 6 Alioth 8 Death

Did you consider putting Rogue in this deck? Maybe instead of Titania?

Seems too clunky to me personally, Luke Cage can just come down too late for her too often. I think it's probably better to just build more ways to win than trying to force the one way to win. Titania can be an insane swing in this deck.

I played against Man-Thing once today. I was playing my Sera Control deck, Worldship was the second location, and they also drew their Rogue to steal my Luke Cage. Just normal Snap luck.

Im gonna swap nebula for Jeff and try this deck, it looks like exactly what ive been wanting in this meta

"X for Y?" is actually a common phrasing for "Can I substitute this character for that character" so I can understand why, if you were just scrolling by, you might've misunderstood. I guess, to the original poster's comment, Regis, at least, based on similar questions in the comments section, feels like the deck is better off having other cards that help it win in cases where Man-Thing is stopped by Luke Cage rather than focusing in on trying to stop Luke Cage by sacrificing more deck slots to it.

I wonder if Rogue over Nebula will work. So you have a Luke Cage counter

Im a silver samurai believer and Deathstrike is fun. Mid-Thing is easily the worse card this week
