I think it'd be really enjoyable if you continued "Half-Life 2: Episode One without mouse movement" and notated which spots are impossible while continuing to move forward, as it's very worthy to see how you get around what IS possible. Given how much time you probably spent on this however, I wouldn't be shocked if you rejected this idea.

0:22 YooToob search get's worse and worse by the day, regardless whether you're logged in or in an incognito/private tab Even if your search is only 3-4 words, and accurate to the title of the video you're looking for, you'll get a _ton_ of irrelevant BS for the first like 5 results, _then_ the video you want. After that, it's just pure unrelated garbage the rest of the way down: random top-10 trending videos, latest music releases, film trailers, a video that's _kinda_ semi-related to your original query, YT kids, clickbait garbage - with shorts sprinkled in occasionally. You can _try_ to fix it a little bit by putting 'before:2025' at the end of the search, but it only gets rid of like 10% - 20% of the useless results most of the time.

worth noting that this savefile bug is a more complicated way to do save deletion, a common speedrun trick, which is more easily done by just deleting the last save (or all saves, not sure) and then pressing F9 (or whatever you have the load quicksave action bound to)

I like how its shortest game of the series that seems to be impossible to complete without the mouse. Oh, the irony! And it's the part that's ordinarily the easiest puzzle in the game too. Gaben's final troll... In other news, it would have been interesting to see how you go about fighting the zombies at the lift shaft later in the game, because its such a claustrophobic space as well as being hard to see at the best of times, let alone with no mouse movement. On second thoughts, you're probably going to tell me that this is the easiest part of the game to complete with no mouse... Hopefully look forward to a solution to the stalker train in the future. Seems a bit of a shame to be defeated by so simple a mechanic. Best of luck!

I don't think it is enough, but you can get closer to the ground by falling from certain heights. You can actually jump 6 different heights (I think). And then you can also get slightly closer to objects by walking into them back and forth. Taking damage changes your angle temporarily, but I don't know if this affects the angle at which the gravity gun functions. And potentially you can use props to glitch out hitboxes, but it might not do anything.

Could you do a video going through how many times it's required to move your mouse? I was thinking you could perhaps use the console to align your aim as best as possible for minimizing the amount of re-aiming.

I just love how, because of the savefile trick, this run is now Windows-only lol (the only disallowed character in linux filenames is /, which you obviously can't save a file as because it'd be a directory instead. so I don't think this would work at all)

Just set your FOV to like 160 to see around you properly, and use speedrunner strats to get past enemies you can't kill and/or puzzles you can't solve, surely it can't be impossible
