I just redid one of my starters, Deirdre, and I also cleaned up all the gifts I gave Raymond and made his house a little more studio apartment and less corporate office. I love this addition!

I did that with Raymond too! He now has a white & teal-themed studio, very hipster haha. I've been leaving the bottom right corner of my builds (Raymond and Fang so far) free so they can put their kitchen/workbench there when crafting, and stuck some fitting wall decor like kitchen supplies and pegboards on there!

I'm always afraid to use "outdoor" looking wallpaper and flooring, but you really knocked it out of the park with Tad's house!! Love it!

I recently started reworking my villagers’ houses. I thought I’d only do the exteriors to match my island vibe, but then I got too much into it and now I’m completly changing the interiors too and I love it

I've been using villager bios on Nookipedia to personalize my villagers homes since they all technically still have hobbies and have color/style preferences. It makes me so happy to give them unique spaces that feel more like them.

I wish I had this DLC because I NEED partition walls and the ability to decorate my villager's houses, it looks so fun!

I agree that people should be talking about it more! I think players, especially those who do themes, may not invite certain villagers to their islands because their house design doesn't mesh with their theme - despite how much they may like the character. This gives the player so much free reign in what they can do. Just about anyone can fit into your island now! It's great. Your Sylvanna's house is amazing! I have her and will renovating her house soon. I like how you kept the cherry blossom elements in there.

I love this feature. I had gifted my villagers alot and kinda ruined their homes so this was a great way to fix it. Also before this, I have been trying to gift both lucky and Kyle beds and they refused to use them. So now Kyle has a condo like thing going in a city and lucky has a haunted graveyard like thing. And both have beds to match the theme.

the villager houses i’ve decorated so far are to make them more “functional” if that makes any sense? i decorated erik’s house to be like the check in area for my campsite and i made tangy’s house a little store. i adore how you thought of how they need beds lol i figured since they didn’t really have them before theres no harm in not giving them one now.

I don't know if you only did one house because of the video or what but just in case I need to say it. You can do multiple house renovations in the same day! You don't need to wait one day to do another one! You can modify all the houses at once!! ☺️

I would answer one thing here is that the house takes up a 4x4 space and the yard I wouldn't know about.

So far, from what I’ve seen, yes but if not they will spawn a stovetop & diy table whenever they need it!

I found my boy Lucky as my third villager, so I decorated his house to look like he’d dug himself out of a grave and started living in the graveyard shed in secret. All of the indoor furniture he has is either natural, messy or outdated (ie. he has a sloppy bed with a simple small dresser with a TV with VCR on top of it at the foot of the bed) to make it look like he’s stolen/found it all, lol. His garden is the graveyard, and I’m currently looking for someone to trade with online for Walker’s photo to put at the foot of one of the graves!
