Yeah, omen has to be one of the most self-sufficient agents that isn't a duelist. He has smokes to block off angles, tps to aggress or relocate, a blind to play off of, and a teleport that can go anywhere on the map. So many aggressive plays can be done with him, with such a good payout rate. if I recommend any way to play omen, it would be to play fairly aggressively with tps in unison with your smokes & blinds. As long as you have good comms with teammates to coordinate, be able to hit your shots, and use your util sufficiently, the success rate as an omen will pop off. This playstyle also goes well with a double-smoke team composition, especially with harbor, viper, or brim. Not too sure about Astra since her kit revolves less around her smoking, albeit it's her job. Astra's kit, however, should be utilized for better things. It's all about having the people to play with. Solo queueing with omen can be *fine* at times, but its always safer to stack in 2s or 3s so your teammates actually know what they're doing.

@@princemanlyspain1817 game sense can be gained for a manner of ways. Watching lowlander during my early days & such helped a lot with that. Also being wary of playstyles & metas also really he;ps to build game sense. As for sensitivity, it's all up to you. I personally run 1.05-1.07 with 800 dpi, but i'd experiment in the range + in games to see whats good for you. I personally enjoy higher sens because the tp is my mainly-utilized ability, and you need to turn 180 a good bit to face right way. same for most of his abilities. overall reacting fast is my forte with my aggressive playstyle. Of course, it's up to you which way you wanna play him, but i've been running an aggressive playstyle for a long time. with games sense, comes the ability to become self-sufficient.

I have been using it for like more than 6 months now. Did it unknowingly at the start(messed up a normal tp) then saw enemies can't wrap their heads around such a play and kept doing it😂😅

At least when he’s smurfing, he’s at a severe disadvantage (shorty / frenzy). The radiants that are literally like top 50 but just make a series of “whatever to radiant” and then just shit on 98% of the player base, that shit is cringe as fuck

@@Sinnosa its not like he was going 40/2 in every game, he was stuck in diamond for months with a shorty, and he almost never top fragged. if that's not proof of a severe disadvantage, I don't know what is.

for those who dont play him and want to learn the following is a tip, if you press r while using your smokes it will toggle the normal view as if you were to have your gun out and your smoke will have a n outline so you can track where it is instead of the special view it has for when using our smoke. its good to see quickly if you're being pushed as well as general clarity

Finally someone who talks about this way of playing omen. I play omen for 2 years & half and I do this kind of tp for 1 year & half. We don't realize the mental impact that this kind of tp has on enemy players. Very good video !

That vents ultimate on split is actually so good. Easily takes control of a spot that’s integral to how the map is played and forces enemies to be wary of it or just die for free. I mean who expects an weeny to be sitting vents 10 seconds into the round lol. Good tech!

tried this earlier and it worked really well, really useful when you want to switch it up a bit

Really good play.. I also play omen main and this was very impressive...

I'm just getting back into Val as an Omen main. I have never seen anyone do what I call a corner smoke. You smoke like you would a one way, then walk around a corner in the smoke. It works really well on Split A site. You can push up and come out the smoke beside everyone. When they catch on, they'll start instant-rushing the smoke, but a shorty stops that. Then you can blind & tp out of the smoke the next time they come there. I've used this so many times, almost always getting free 4ks & aces.

What's funny is that this technique is not new, it's mostly used by omen mains, but now that people see this you can messed with their head cause they will expect this fake tp, but in reality you will actually just tp normally behind them. It's also best to combine it with omen's paranoia. Use paranoia before you tp > One tip from me is, after using paranoia instead of tp behind them try to find high spots to go to. Cause they will either expect you to be behind or in front of them 😁 > last tip is Omen's best map's would be Haven and Split, Cause this places has a lot of high spots. > The worst map for me as an omen main would be breeze, it's fck up using it there although it's good to use it when your relying on smokes, since omen has a count down.

Frenzy nerfs I havnt noticed that much at all, still use it easily vs vandals

ever since i started maining brim afterleaving omen i always used to be bored while playing brim. The agressiveness omen brings AS a CONTROLLER is just too good man.

i mained brim after they nerfed omen, i learnt many lineups on almost all maps. now if i take omen instead of brim i feel like i am loosing post plant value because i won many rounds by molly lineups. brim and viper are awesome once learnt lineups

Ult can counter KJ ult on def, Omen clone for info and play with enemies head something I dont see in gold, plat lobbies. As a duelist main(jett, raze, yoru) I always get tilted when a enemy omen does a braindead tp and kills me.
