Your upcycled denim jeans purse/tote is unique among all of the designs I've seen. I love your use of reverse applique and contrasting colors. Your lining fabric is really cute too. And the shiny stripes will reflect light making it easier to see inside the bag. I can hardly wait to make my own version of this bag. Now, if I could just find my sewing machine in my office studio that still needs to be unpacked. I've recently acquired a nice sized collection in a nice variety of blue and black and washed denim jeans. My husband, who recently passed away, had quite a few pairs of jeans and I've recently lost a lot of weight so I can't wear quite a few pairs I've worn for years. My collection will be perfect for making this really great purse design. Thanks so much for showing how you made it.

Sorry for your loss... I, too, do upcycle clothes of my parents, who passed away a few years ago. This way they are "with"me and my handcraftet bags' value performs into a personal precious treasure! It is good and even helpful to me doing this! Go on and be strong and creative!❤

I can easily SEE every single step good camera position and cutting!👍 Coming to "cutting" - as so many before have commented: to cut with good working scissors means much more fun! Especially jeans fabric is somewhat stubborn and require good muscles when it has to be cut into pieces! The result if your effort is this wonderful bag! I love the design! It looks very posh! Though I would have given these zipper-tags a smaller form, I love your idea to re-use these squares you cut out for the bag's bottom for the zipper-tags! All in all: G.R.E.A.T. ! ❤

I agree … even extra large industrial fabric scissors require a ton of strength or struggle. The idea is to comment on the creation, the workmanship … not the equipment. I spent 38 years with a broken down sewing machine with tension issues, but it got the job done. I’d hate to think that showcasing my work would turn out to be about what I couldn’t afford in a sewing machine, rather than the beauty of my creation. This is stunning and unique! I’m a fan for sure!!!❤

I don't think that was a good decision.For what you put inside that bag kind of took away from the bag with all the work you did on the outside with that design was beautibut the but put that lining in there that you put in just didn't do Justice for the bag.I'm just saying it's your bag and do what you want to.But if you're gonna show it you should have fall.En don't stop my little bit better than that I think

Come idea è molto carina... però x quanto riguarda il video al momento del "disegno dei fiori e loro manifattura" non si è visto granché, in quanto di pessima qualità (guarda caso, solo in quel momento di lavoro)....i pezzetti di stoffa alla cerniera, a parer mio, sarebbero stati meglio cuciti e ribattuti...
