It's still like 3mil less damage than a hunter or lock can do in a single phase, so 6 mil less over 2 phases, but anyone telling you to get off titan needs to get good at the game if it's required for them to complete the raid. You can very easily two phase regardless of what class is being used. Only reason you go for a full fireteam of hunters or locks is if you want a 1 phase and let's be real, 99% of the player base can't even stay alive during damage so it really doesn't matter how much damage you can theoretically do. Side note though, you don't want to be shooting rockets unless you're standing away from everyone else when you shoot. You'll be playing dodge the guardian and more often than not, end up needing to be revived if you don't position yourself away from everyone else.

@@Dez_CA wild response to facts. There’s legit videos of hunters doing 7.5mil in 1 phase and videos of locks doing similar damage. Not as high but still higher than titans. This video showed 9 mil damage on titan in what appears to be a 2 phase. If a hunter did a 2 phase, they’d have 15mil. Simple math. Maybe watch some dps videos on witness and you’ll realise your reply makes 0 sense. It is indeed you who has no idea about anything to do with the witness. Typical destiny player pulling the trigger before doing their own research.

The one with the lowest damage died 3 times, the one with the second lowest died twice. The Warlock missed a full damage phase and still did 3 million. The only Hunter to survive the entire time did 6 Million, and he was popping his Goldy off in the Well. The Hunters in this video were just bad.

This was the best Titan DPS clip I've ever seen in my life, my maximum was 6kk on Crota

It’s been great for a good while among top raids and speed runners thanks to how easy it is and still does decent ad-clear

FYI: you can stand still in a well at the front with triple solar resist and survive all his attacks par from the jump. Makes DPS so much less of a hassle.

I've been using it in a similar manner to this, but with Dragon's Breath and a Crafted Embraced Identity with Enhanced RR and Enhanced FTtC (with Appended Mag and Back-Up Mag + triple Void Reserves, you get 27 shots in total not counting FTtC and it's Supremacy but Void with a higher damage frame) on Sentinel. It's this exact same rotation and it's godly. Offensive Bulwark + Shieldcrush = SO many Weakening, Enhanced Duration Vortex Grenades and Controlled Demolitionist adds so much incidental damage.

Never thought about using Still Hunt for the necessary precision hit stacking but it makes perfect sense thanks for this man I can't wait to try it

@@ianjohnson3770 Proccing it is hell when you're only using it for a couple of shots instead of a rocket-heavy DPS rotation. Your rocket launcher is only out for the time you need to holster reload your sniper. Therefore pulling out your primary to reproc bait is a massive waste of time and handling. You're not here for rocket damage, you're here to add a cherry on top of your Still Hunt rotation.

the biggest reason his damage was so high was because the rest of the raid teams was so low. if either of the other hunters just shot off all their still hunt shots witness would have been dead long before and his damage would have been in the 4m~5m range.

@@ChuuniKaedepretty much this. not to take away or diminish from this, cause hes nailing the shots, retributions, rocket buffs, everything amazingly. it's just that the boss has a finite amount of health. if someones pulling those numbers in that timeframe against celestial hunters, someone else isnt. sick footage either way

same build i use and it goes so damn hard for dps. use a solar holster and you can shoot both rockets to let still hunt reload one, and that will give you just enough in the mag to chain caydes retribution which will keep reloading it

Awesome vid, it's inspiring to see what you can achieve even on a titan (most I've hit was 2.6mil a phase let alone the 3.5-4 you're getting). I have a couple questions about this though. What's your method of building transcedence and super? I notice when I use Twilight that I'm usually just a bit behind on super regen before a damage phase, and typically only get it back if I'm ad-clearing and spamming melee kills. Additionally, what's your strat for ammo generation? My only concern with this set up is the heavy ammo rng could make or break a rotation entirely.

you need to add clear and make tons of super and use a diff set for ad vs dps

I'm trying to replicate this myself since I too am a titan but the highest I hit on the witness was around 7MIL. Does the suspension from the snare grenade apply a darkness debuff to the witness? I kinda feel like it doesn't, and I'm thinking I'm kosing dps on my exodus rockets since those should get buffed from facet of courage

I did similar damage (8-9mil, not quite as much as this but still more than my teams hunters lol) with my raid team using eternal warrior + star eaters class item with twilight arsenal and edge transit (normal envious + bns, no double roll cascade bs) and the new pale heart sniper (reconstruction + precision instrument, mostly to pop witness glyphs but still decent for the damage phase, could prolly swap to wilderflight but ive had gl shots bounce off of the witness sometimes so i try to stay away from that. Happy with my setup rn but ill for sure give this a try sometime

why the suppressor grenade for boss damage? did you need it for adds?

wouldnt transference be better than expanding abyss since it will only buff your shield melee and last third of the super?

Anything with microcosm A star-eaters class item with Nova bomb and microcosm/doomed petitioner does great damage Cenotaph + microcosm is easy brain off DPS, best to use with Nova bomb on transcendent

Explosive light is better than B&S if you don’t have anyone on Gjallarhorn. EL doesn’t work with Wolfpack, but B&S does.

Genuine question: Isn't the chest piece still bugged to where radiant overrides the damage from the exotic? Making it so throwing your melee makes you do less damage no? Also; LOVE the fashion, anyone know what shader is he using?

Bungie patched it in one of the recent updates. Radiant no longer overrides Hazardous Propulsion's damage buff and it now stacks correctly as an Empowering Buff

Theoretically if there was a void rocket with enhanced bait and switch this season you could do more dmg cuz of the artifact perk

Not gonna lie had the same idea when i got the exotic and did 4he raid with Titan that you could cook with it. Tried it with Crux 1. Clown Cartiridge 2. Explosive light and Cloudstrike but failed the dmg Phases. But with reconstruction its much easier to swap and shoot.

Is that fleeting frozen heart in the beginning?

Missing final stand in the hunter clip because nobody stopped to revive is wild. Reviving in that phase is a net dps increase.

How bad is the damage on axes?

I was saddened that people kept saying titan is bad and all that. this made me happy. thank you. I love titan and I love this new exotic chest plate so much. I wish it had Failsafe voices lines playing when its fully charged or fires like ai things would in Borderlands but its still so fun to use
