The only problem I have about this, where Marinette is gone because of the wish, is that it doesn’t really make any sense to me, and here’s why. So Gabriel (Hawkmoth) gets both the Cat and Ladybug miraculouses to make a wish. So, why would Marinette be the price to pay? Gabriel doesn’t care much about Marinette, so the price wouldn’t be much of a price to him, only to Adrien. Speaking of Adrien, he’s Gabriel’s son, so Gabriel cares about him (even though it doesn’t seem like he does), Adrien would be a much better price to pay for Gabriel, because he would be devastated about him not being here, just like with his wife. Natalie would also be a good price to pay for making the wish.
