Lovely interview- and Yoshiki so sweet and humble. I caught the last show live stream on Veep (I’m in Australia) - all stars are my genre (I’m 2 years older than Yoshiki) and Sugizo and Hyde had also started to play in Japan during the times I spent either living there or travelling over during the 80-90s. Am so excited for this venture for them, to see what comes next

Finally, an interviewer that doesn't ask STUPID questions! All of the TLRS English interviews so far have been agonizing to watch, you can tell the interviewers don't care and didn't even bother to do any research. Thanks!

The music of "The Last Rock Stars" is a fusion of different genres, primarily rock and metal. The project is led by YOSHIKI, a renowned musician and composer, who has collaborated with several other notable artists in the rock and metal scene, including HYDE, the lead vocalist of the Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. The music features a mix of original songs by YOSHIKI and his collaborators, as well as covers of classic rock and metal hits. The original songs of "The Last Rock Stars" feature YOSHIKI's signature style of blending classical music elements with rock and metal. The songs often have an epic and cinematic quality, with soaring melodies, intense guitar riffs, and powerful drumming. The lyrics often touch on themes of love, loss, and overcoming adversity. Overall, the music of "The Last Rock Stars" is a powerful and dynamic fusion of rock, metal, and classical music, with a unique style that sets it apart from other bands in the genre. It was a chilly evening in Los Angeles as fans eagerly gathered outside the concert venue, waiting for the doors to open for the highly anticipated live performance of the Japanese rock band, "the last rock stars." The band, comprised of Yoshiki, Hyde, Sugizo, and Miyavi, had gained a cult following in Japan and around the world for their unique blend of rock, pop, and electronic music. As the doors opened, fans rushed inside, eager to secure the best spots for the show. The venue was packed with fans, both young and old, all united in their love for the band. The stage was set with towering stacks of speakers and an array of dazzling lights, promising an unforgettable experience for all in attendance. The band members took to the stage to thunderous applause, with Yoshiki on drums, Hyde on vocals, Sugizo on guitar, and Miyavi on bass. From the very first note, the crowd erupted into a frenzy of excitement, singing along with every song and cheering for their favorite band members. The band played all of their hit songs with each member showcasing their incredible talent and showmanship. The crowd was electrified, with fans jumping, dancing, and singing along to every beat. As the show drew to a close, the band thanked their fans for their unwavering support and promised to return to LA soon for another unforgettable performance. The audience cheered and begged for an encore, and the band happily obliged, playing a few more songs to the delight of their adoring fans. As the final notes of the last song faded away, the band took their final bow and left the stage, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement and anticipation for the next performance of "the last rock stars." All songs were good except the two composed by YOSHIKI. You must not be serious to say the title song is a good one, although HYDE has the magic to make everything work but the lack of guitars and everything in the original mix is just Muh. Plus YOSHIKI is not an active rock musician now, his bandmates are, so that’s understandable.

@@jasondetilly5647 Yep. I didn’t hear it any different from the old XJAPAN ballads and not a fan of “teaching you to sing music lessons.” I can understand there might be ppl like it though. The songs by Sugizo Messiah and Folly actually come from his solo work, which to me is totally hidden gem discovered. And 6or9 is from HYDE’s solo work, Bang! from MIYAVI’s. Other new songs, danceable ones Here’s love and Up and down has this 80s vibe in a good new way and HYDE’s Psycho Love reflects the modern rock sound he is persuading in his solo work which is really cool to me.

@@user-yn8rx3hd1e Thank you for your input. I read that Messiah and Folly were new songs from them, along with Here's the Love, Hallelujah and Up and Down. I didn't know they were Sugizo's. I love Hyde and I really loved when they played Psycho Love before the encore. One of the highlights of the concert for me. I have all of Hyde's albums, including L'Arc-en-Ciel, Vamps and his solo works, but I can't put my finger on 6or9. On which album/single is it in? Or is it that he only played it live until now?

I see, I must have heard it when I saw him at Summer Sonic last summer but didn't realize it then haha I wonder why they don't want him to put it on an album, it's a great song! And I'm a little surprised he doesn't have the last say in what goes on his albums/singles.
