"Death Note THE MUSICAL"" will open at the new Tokyo Tatemono Brillia HALL in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, on Monday, January 20, 2020. On the day before the opening, a photo call and a press conference were held with Ryota Murai, Shoma Kai, Fu Takahashi, and Sakura Kiryu from the cast on stage.
The musical adaptation of the hit manga ""DEATH NOTE"" (story by Tsugumi Ohba, manga by Takeshi Obata), with music by world-renowned composer Frank Wildhorn, premiered in 2015 and was revived in 2017, will have completely new cast this time.
The lead role of Yagami Light will be played by the young and talented Murai and the rising star Kai, who was selected among 2,416 people who auditioned nationwide. Takahashi of the male vocal unit ""WATWING,"" which debuted this year from HORIPRO, has been named for the role of the genius detective L.

デスノート初演やるって聞いた時、 さすがにそれは(笑)って思ったけど、映像みた時に思ってた以上っていうか本当にすごいって言葉しか出てこなくて、いい意味で裏切られたから、もっと公演重ねるかなんかして大きい会場でやって欲しい。 再演するときは絶対観に行く！

人外役に日本語をあまり話せない役者を持ってくるの良いな 母音の響きが微妙に日本語と違うから人外感の演出になる
村井良大さん❗️❓️凄く久しぶりに見たお名前ですね❤️ なんだか、エリザベートみたいな演出ですね。２.５次元には珍しい古めのミュージカルみたいですね。 制作に海外の方がいるからですかね？

確かにエリザベートみたいですよね。エリザベートのもう一人の主人公が「死神」すなわち「死」を擬人化したものだったからかもしれないです。
Would love the soundtrack cds really.

they probably mean the like 2015 or the other japanese run before this one.
