That was the original Yoshi and each evolved Yoshi killed its predecessor so why would they hold a grudge for Mario killing someone they’d kill on sight themselves?!

Probably because it's an evolutionary benefit to thin out the lineage of their previous generation before evolving into a new Yoshi. Would also explain why the new Yoshis game over their parents on sight. Like natural selection on steroids

I love the fact through every episode of dorkly Mario loves killing enemies. And yet there's a character that is more horrifying than him, to the point where he begs it to stop. I'm liking the new Sprite animations

0:36 I had the exact same reaction as Mario when I saw that, like damn y’all animated that perfectly and the music stopping made it more cold and pretty badass.

I can only imagine how easy it would have made the game if Yoshi evolved into his final monster form.

Can you imagine Yoshi doing this in the Digimon universe? That would be terrifying and awesome.

At 0:36, it's so funny of how Mario swears because of how the second purple yoshi killed the first acid yoshi. Excellent work man. 😂

It is my firm belief that the Yoshis were unable to physically bring themselves to harm Mario, so they had to resort to the nuke Yoshi at the end to finally get revenge for all the cliff-jumps.

In addition to spitting acid, acid spitting Yoshi was the spitting image of the very brown and tree-covered environment it spat acid in thus allowing acid spitting Yoshi to easily blend into its environment extremely effectively (oh, and acid-y).

Spiny Yoshi evolved to jump over the acid to rush down the spitter yoshis, which also doubled as armor against their acidic spit. They also traded off their signature brown coloration for a purple that blends in with the night sky, which is their primary hunting time. (After this it kinda spirals into complete chaos, would love to see someone try it tho)

This gives me an idea for a Mario/Yoshi's Island game, Mario and Yoshi travelling to different environments and biomes and find multiple Yoshis that adapted to the environment around them.

Hasn't this already been on lowbrow for like 4 months now?

Yeah but more than likely since Lowbrow made a bunch of these dorkly brand IP’s years ago and continued them onto Lowbrow, they’re moving them back to Dorkly since they own them now and want to bring back the brand. Pure speculation on my part mind you

Those Yoshi evolutions look badass not gonna lie.

Oh, when that last one started turning pale.... I instantly realized what was happening. Started yelling "RUN!" at Mario, but he just stood there. Won't lie, as long as he obeys, Acid-Spit Yoshi is excellent.

what if you were riding a yoshi and evolved him all the way to purple yoshi and he whiplashed your father decaptating him in an instant while you witnessed it from yoshi's back saddle what would you do?

I thought the purple yoshi was the best-looking one, ferocious and sleek but still cute. 🤩 Then it just got terrifying from there. 😱

the designs for the evolutions are actually pretty cool and creative

I find this really cool. I wish you can make this again but we get to see every evolution and every horrifying end of the previous Yoshi. I find it really cool and only wanted to see all the many different yoshis and their style of getting ride of the other Yoshis after watching this. I would love to see Yoshi become a Eldritch horror and Mario completely horrified by every and is scared to run away.

The Yoshi family just reminds me waay too much of Shigeru Miyamoto's original designs for the Yoshi dragon ride partner during the Super Mario Bros. 1-4/Super Mario World development. It's as if we could have given a much more mega version of Yoshi, as well as having a Godzilla version of Yoshi, if Shigeru went that far (considering Video Game Ratings in Japan didn't exist yet until 2002, so he could have thrown anything in there and it would still pass to be distributed to game stores and such).
