Finally, I got to work on this song :)
This is my arrangement of Yorushika's 'Rain with Cappuccino (雨とカプチーノ)', which is probably one of their most popular songs along with 'Say It' and 'Ghost In A Flower'.
Songs that swing are always kind of difficult to arrange, since the groove sometimes doesn't get conveyed as well as the original beat played by drums. In order to solve this problem, I actually simplified the left hand by placing the notes only where it was absolutely necessary, instead of copying every single note from the drums.
As you can see from the video, I combined two programs for the MIDI visualization, having thicker and thinner notes was kind of awkward for me. I think I managed to figure out a better style than before, so I hope you like it as well :)

Awesome arrange! I know it's not good to compare with other works, but I do think this is the best piano arrange of "Rain with Cappuccino" I've heard so far. I especially like that you simplified the beats of the right hand in the prelude and interludes, so it sound waaaaay better when being played by a piano, rather than just being loyal to the original melody. Looking forward to your future work!

Great arrangement as usual. I feel like your arrangements always really capture the feeling and emotion of the original songs very well, which is something, in my opinion, other piano arrangements on KZread usually fail to do. Keep up the good work.

Very nice arrangement as usual! I find it interesting that this arrangement starts off calmer than the original song (the main melody? was missing for the first few seconds), and at the end also calms down slightly before the original does. I assume this was done to make the song feel a bit calmer since the original used a lot of drums, which doesn’t translate well to piano. Compared to your other faster-paced arrangements I’d say that this one is a bit simpler as well, which I think is a good decision for this song. Overall a really good arrangement which captures the original’s feel well. Great job! 👏👏👏👏

Awesome arrangement man!!! I know some find the thinner midi to look better but for those who use synthesia to actually learn a piece it's actually pretty inconvenient, tho on the other hand the visuals you use aren't cut out for learning anyway so I suppose it doesn't matter^^
I am glad that you decided to simplify the LH for this arrangement. Thanks for making this amazing arr. The jazz is strong. the thinner MIDI looks much better ;)

my greatest trouble with these is that although I am able to find the notes (after much-extended searching), I do not know where to place my fingers to transition to the next note/chord!

Just do what comes natural, I'm sure you'll figure it out with time. If you have a teacher you can ask them to help you.

I kinda feel the accents are missing which misses out the feeling of the drums in the original song. (Maybe can't replicate it when arranging though). Especially during the riff section, the b notes are monotone and don't have the swing feeling. Also in the verses, I think there should be less pedal and louder/accented left hand to enunciate the drum rhythm.

Thanks for your opinion! Do you mean the interlude section by riff section? I tried placing the b notes exactly as in the song, but I simplified it because I thought it would be too hard to play on the piano that fast. I had the same thought as you did regarding the drum rhythm, I guess it's kind of hard to balance between mimicking other instruments and simplification for actual performance :)
