A fine day in the AIre Valley on the outskirts of Bingley saw 4 laps of 10 sections on the rocky hillside at Lady Lane, Bingley.
Best ride of the day came from Ben Butterworth on his Ariel going clean over the slippery rocks. The Bantams of Nick Jefferies, Chris Greenwood and David Fallows on 2, 3 and 4 were next best on the Premier route.
On the Clubman route, three clean rides were recorded. Another Ariel in the hands of Steve Gossop, Bantam mounted Chris Forshaw and Keith 'Kirt' Hobson on his Mk1 Armac Cub all remained feet up closely followed by Malcolm Cocking and Paul Charnley on 1 each. Gary Marshall had a good ride on his rigid Triumph TRW twin losing only 2 marks on the clubman route and Gary Mitchell went clean on the new Gentleman's route marked over two laps.
The majority of riders had a good day although it was sad to see Chris Haigh's beautiful Velocette rolling side over side in section 4. Hope both you and the bike were not badly damaged Chris.
