When I first met my Yorkie Mix puppy she was 5 weeks old I'll pick Her up on November 13th❤❤

My Yorkie doesn't have a docked tail. I LOVE his tail. It's very Express especially when he's sleeping. I hate the docked tail. A show dog is 1 thing, but my little boy is my baby.

My yorkies puppy’s did the same thing but they are eight weeks now and they love to run

do some researching there is tons of people that sell yorkies! gotta make sure you find the right place and make sure the doggies are healthy and well taken care of.

They are loyal but high maintenance! brush regularly and trim nails once a month! start teaching them commands early! they are super intelligent, give bath once a month as well so they get used to the grooming process. also stick to 1 brand of food until at least 1 yr of age! they do well on pee pads until fully transitioned to going outside! keep in mind they are small and tend to use the potty more often! so training is a little harder! thats why having a pee pad around is key! they are active cuddly dogs! so much adventures will be needed for enrichment.

@@missj8426 Yeah, the standard is 8 weeks. I was really disappointed that I got scammed and lost $200 . I'm actually still looking but with a lot more caution. Good Luck with the upcoming birth

Because the american kennel club says so. No medical benifit whatsoever. Only happens in the US

Actually my other set never got it done! we realized and noticed it didnt need to be done! we were going to sell this group but ended up keeping them because we couldnt let go! all was taken to the vet and at this moment THEY ARE GREAT DOGGIES

Cutting tails is animal abuse. There's no need for that. Here in Europe (Holland) any vet that cuts a tail to a dog for aesthetics purposes ... loses his/her license to practices.

No must never cut a yorkies tail, its. against the law here in the UK, a yorkies tail is ment to be long 👍

we learned later it was not needed however we did not know if we wanted to sale them or not and usually people liked them docked if they are to buy! lot's of people who sale there dogs crop ears and tails etc ! it happens but i will never do it again! nor do i want too in the end for us its not about money and we kept all the babies! this was an accidental pregnancy as it was! but everything is fine now and everyone is neutered and spayed.

yorkies are born with short hair like this! they grow the length later! there is two different types of yorkies there is the silky terrier and the yorkshire terrier bred together make silkshire terriers they all have long hair unless cut short.
