My dog Carter is a silky Yorkshire "Yorkie" Terrier. He will be 3 years old in a few days. I wanted to show what a daily life of a dog mom is as well as what yorkies eat, how they play, etc. I received questions about Carter on the previous video I did: "Things to know before buying a Yorkie." So I wanted to answer those questions in a vlog. I hope this helped you see what my Yorkie does, what brand of food he eats, etc.
*Upon doing my own research I have realized that Carter is not a Yorkshire "Yorkie" Terrier, he is a Silky Terrier. When I got him they didn't distinguish that there was a difference and called him a Yorkie.

We have 2 yorkies, and we treat them the same as you with one exception.....no cages, we took the time to potty train them outside, and they also have a doggy door! Their bed is our bed.....but yes you are a very good doggie (baby) mama!

I miss having a dog. We use to have a Yorkshire terror. She was my little sister. She was the best dog. She loved lying on your legs and wanted a blanket or a quilt over her. She hated baths she would fight to get away. Then she would be mad at you for giving her a bath. She was spoiled but she was a great dog. She died in 2008. I hope soon I can get a dog on my own. I want another yorkie because she was such a good girl! Great video!

Just came across your channel...good info I use the a few of your items the ones I do not use that I will be getting is the bath brush and the flat thing you put the sweet potatoes on...I also recently was told about some rocks that you can add to their water that helps with their urine I am looking into it you can purchase o chewy or amazon ...sharing is caring...love your boy god bless

I'm getting a yorkie in 2 weeks & I'm already nervous, never really took care of a pet by myself & your videos are so helpful! Especially your Amazon list so please keep these videos with Carter coming! How did you discover coconut oil was good for dogs? I'm curious because ppl are always like be cautious what you give dogs & all that

Don't be nervous!! I have a playlist for Carter so you can check those out. I show the very first time I saw him etc. I was nervous too but as I learned him, I was able to figure things out quickly... I was researching a natural way to clean his teeth and his breath and coconut oil was an option! It's also a great natural remedy for their dry skin and paws.

The kennel is attached to the playpen. You can check Chewy, Petsmart or Petco if you can’t find amazon

It doesn’t matter the brand as long as it’s organic virgin unrefined coconut oil. I like the brand Jason or any from Whole Foods
Is it safe to feed them coconut oil???

You will have an idea of how he will grow by 4 or 5 months. My Carter’s weight sky rocketed. He weighs more than both of his parents.
Omg I promise your dog looks just like mine he use to be black on his back but when he got his hair cut he came home sliver back he’s blonde in the head and face he loves to go out in the backyard and run around like a wild dog he’s 4 and will be 5 in February and his name is Carmelo lol if you want to check him out his Instagram account is Carmelo_the_yorkie and I call him pop pop

Why the eye drops ?

It helps to reduce tear stains and to also get rid of any debris or pollen that can get in his eyes when he’s outside. I was noticing he always wants to scratch his eyes so I got the drops.
