@@Christmas-Jacket Nope, and I hope I never will. Obviously fiction will never completely capture how one will feel in the same situation irl, the shock and emotional turmoil from the real thing. At the very least however, these extremely graphic scenes in fiction could possibly serve to subtly condition people to be able to recover somewhat quicker from traumatic experiences like someone having their head blown off right in front of them. To give an example, I don't remember the name of the man, but the person who made the Hellraiser movies personally viewed a dissection of a fresh corpse as research for the practical effects of the film. As it turns out, he was rather disappointed, describing the exposed flesh of the cadaver as similar to strips of bacon in appearance. Whether this had to do with expectations imprinted in him from other media isn't known, but I'd like to believe it had an impact to a degree.

In the early part of the Swordsmith Arc, Inosuke was being described as a honey badger using a book about the animal that comes from Shinobu's personal library. A close up of the page showing the picture of the animal shows that the book has english texts in it, making it possible that Shinobu may be capable of reading English, and by extension, be able to speak it too...

Yor and Loid: The top of their fields in shadowy, undercover work, trained from young ages in their craft, including exceptional observational and analytic skills. Also Yor and Loid: So utterly out of touch with anything approaching normalcy that neither has realized that the other is a spy/assassin, despite witnessing things that would make it incredibly obvious to literally anyone normal. Also, I must point out. If we go by the click rate to time elapsed when Loid is asked to prove their relationship by kissing, it takes him ~0.005 seconds, a frankly ludicrously short time, to go from hearing Yor actually has feelings for him, to confessing his own. For all intents and purposes, this man responded instantaneously, by insisting they get married.

One thing that's missing from the clip show is that Loid's response to Yor's feelings is actually calculated. While it does become apparent that he cares about Yor, in this instance, he doesn't care THAT much, and is only insisting on real marriage as part of a honey trap. He's actually trying to manipulate her. Unfortunately for Loid, the plan backfires and he accidentally pushes the drunken Yor's feelings past the brink, resulting in him taking a blow from her, as seen in the video. He recovers from the blow just long enough to regret his decision to manipulate her before losing consciousness. By the time he's woken up in Yor's lap, he's completely abandoned his honey trap plan in favor of addressing Yor's feelings properly.

"pretend"? Dude has been eating Yor's food since he was five. He literally conditioned himself to eat stuff that goes from "inedible" to "Yor's boss thinks it's unnecessary cruelty" up to "a clear violation of the Geneva treaties" and LIKE IT. His body says "I'mma die here", but his mind says "it's sis's cooking, it's delicious." As a side note, in the manga, much later, it's shown how repeated exposure to Yor's cooking has made Yuri almost immune to any poison known to man, and even some that are not.
