Red Lights is a masterpiece. The cinematography, the music, the lyrics, the choreo, the wardrobe, the acting... all of it. It's my favorite Skz song and the it was actually the first Skz I ever heard 😂 I listen to this song everyday. Chan and Hyunjin wrote this though both of them will blame it solely on the other one hahaha The song in Korean is called Compulsion. It's two sides of the same person fighting against unhealthy obsession, their inner demons. For them it's them being workaholics. Chan is known for staying up til 4 am working on music. He has said before if he's not working on something he'll go crazy. Hyunjin is incredibly passionate when it to comes to dance so he's always practicing. Red light can also refer to the studio Recording light when they are in session. The song can be about toxic relationships in general of course. They actually did a version of this on tour with all of the members. You would like their song Taste with Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know. Similar vibe no music video but it has a lyric video. Bang Chan and Lee Know did one called Drive, totally different vibe. Definitely not about driving though 😂😂 This is the Stray Kids Unholy Trinity as I like to call it... Red Lights, Taste and Drive Nah none of them would ever leave, especially Chan. He created the group and brought everyone together. It would be like abandoning his children. He calls them the kids. They are a family and all share a deep and beautiful bond. They dont like being apart from one another. It's one of the things we love about them 😊 The logo is Bang Chans handwriting. He created it. Stray Kids everywhere all around the world is the message, its to their fans Stays... unless people mean there is a message in the lyrics. Also Happy early birthday!

My favourite thing about SZK branching out with these sub units and solo songs is that they can have more variety with their styles and vocals. Such as Hyunjin usually raps on skz song, but here you can really appreciate his vocals.

I told you, man. I knew you'd love this song the moment you said you liked R&B. I never understood why people said you need to wait. Red Lights is the song everyone loves. It's literally the only song my managers put on the work playlist when i recommended Stray Kids. It is premium music.

So glad you loved Red Lights! Such a great song! Check out Streetlight by Changbin, it’s from the SKZ Replay album, the MV doesn’t have subtitles, but you can look them up. It’s an amazing song that you can feel the emotions without knowing what he’s saying. It has to do with mental health struggles and is something they are passionate about. Also, the SKZ Replay album is made up of mostly individual songs and some group songs. And hope you had a great birthday!

The choreography for this was amazing. And Bang chan and Hyunjin together were off the hook!!! Hyunjin is my favorite. Hyunjin's voice hits differently. But this was a masterpiece. And it's pronounced like Hen-Gin 😂

Happy Birthday! I hope you have an amazing day and don't get hit by a bus! I'll be honest, I started checking out one of your other reactions and my ADHD caused me to click off. For that, I'm sorry. Your introductions are long but you raise valid points about pausing, copyright etc. I'm so glad I stuck through those first few minutes; your commentary, appreciation, and reactions are *chefs kiss"! Red Lights is so SKZ in that it can be interpreted so many ways. The BTS for SKZ is amazing - you get to see the fun they have filming, learn a little about the making of, and just how hard they work to make these masterpiece MVs. As for the message - it is the "Stray kids all around the world, you make Stray Kids Stay" you saw. The fandom is Stay; you take the (R)eason out of Stray, you're left with Stay. We are the reason they can continue and they are the reason we Stay. Their use of BDSM (breathplay, rope-play, bondage chains) signified a lack of control on their part - for them it's the practice room or the recording booth, they're both obsessed with the "red light" and perfecting their craft. But, it's not healthy. Also, Chan and Hyunjin got a Shibari artist (or kinbakushi) for the rope scenes, that's the level of respect these guys have for art! The problem you may find with Lose My Breath is the feature takes over the song - I recommend the OT8 version they did, it's a live sit-down version and I think it's stunning. You have a lot to get through and discover, I do not envy your job!!! (also, the easiest way I've found to pronounce Hyunjin is (phonetically) "h-young-gin" - just say it quickly) AND PLEASE CHECK OUT MAMAMOO!!!!!! OMG you said you like vocals and melody, those women will deliver you to heaven! And MooMoos (the fandom) will welcome you to the beautiful crack-headery that is Mamamoo!

fyi, “stray kids everywhere all around the world” is actually a CALL for all the people who feels like they are the “stray” kids, that’s what chan ever explained in their early interview. So “stray kids” is mean to be a community, a gathering for people who doesn’t fit in their society/home country. that slogan is also an assurance for the “lost” people that “you are not alone to feel that way”. that our species are a lot, they are just spread everywhere all around the world. and from marketing perspective, stray kids are basically targeting minorities from all countries. they are becoming big not bcos dominating one country, but by gathering all the stray ones in every country. Minority x All countries = massive quantity. and btw skz music even until this day still isn’t accepted by the korean general public (‘too noisy/not kpop enough’ they said) hence staying true to their name as the “stray kids”.

Han I'm sure will have something soon because he is such an ace. If you want more vocals you would love Cover me. Neverending story, Levanter, hellavator, oh, slump have beautiful vocals too. Hall of fame, wow, taste, victory song, miroh, side effects, scars, charmer are very dynamic and cool songs with their own vibes. With you being Hispanic i think you'd enjoy the end of Christmas evel, which is a great song! There's another sing too with a Spanish reference in it too but i can't remember which one it is.
