Yoonmirae a.k.a Tasha a.k.a Gemini is like, the first female rapper in South Korea and her husband is also the godfather of Korean Hip-Hop. She was a member of the first Korean Hip-Hop crew 'Movement' and she's still one of the greatest rappers in Korea. Many hiphop heads still say her name first when it comes to the female rap scene in Korea.

Yoon Mirae is such a legend. She’s been active since late 90s/early 00s (she’s a 41yr old mother to a teen if you can believe it) so her roots are really in the 90s hip hop/rnb. The first song she sang here was “Black Happiness” and it is such an emotional song, highly recommend watching the video with lyrics. She’s an amazing rapper but she’s also a beautiful singer. She’s released a lot of ost ballads for Korean dramas.

You should check out “back to me” by Korean hip hop group Uptown - her debut. She was 16. I still remember when I first saw Uptown and Yoon Mirae on TV. I was speechless.

Yoon Mirae is one top of korean hip-hop.!!! also she is great singer. i recommend a song "always". it's awesome ost a k-drama.

I'm an old head Korean America from Los Angeles but also grew up with the 1st generation of Kpop and K-Hip hop. I always believed that if Tasha stayed in the states and Aaliyah never died, we'd be looking at a very different music industry.

I Love You (너를 사랑해) Touch Love Always Another poster got some of her older ballads(she also has some full english versions of these songs) but here's a few more. Haru Haru(classic) Unforgettable Goodbye Sadness, Hello Happiness. I like Warning(not a ballad) when she was with Tashannie as well. She debuted with a group called Uptown when she was barely a teenager with a song called Let's meet again. It's a bop. I think she's still the best female rapper in Korea and her ability to rap and sing are unmatched in Korea. If she debuted now she'd be a worldwide star. BTW loving that you're getting some of the 1st gen kpop.

@@BestFriendsReact Besides songs that @windboy recommended, there are other great songs that you would love to react such as Get It In (both Korean and English version), Far East Movement - Fighter ft. Yoonmirae & Autolase, Special Clip(스페셜클립): Yoonmirae(윤미래) _ No Gravity, all with mvs. I would suggest make a theme songs in one reaction clip, they are people like me love long duration' reaction video, especially a true and sincere one.

Damn, I fell asleep early on the night you guys were posting the video I have been looking forward to the most. Feel Ghood Music is a pretty small music company. The artists signed to it are Tiger Jk, Yoon Mi Rae, Bizzy, and Bibi. Bizzy has been a long-time partner of Tiger JK and the third member of MFBTY. They have had some other artists signed in the past, but most of them have moved on. MRSHLL, one of them, now produces his own music, but still helps them out on the musical production side. The band members who are playing in this performance are staff members of the company and most staff have multiple jobs. Most of the artists who have signed been signed to the label are Korean American. Bibi is pretty much the only exception. Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, and Bizzy are all Korean Americans themselves. Though Bizzy was born in New Zealand, before moving to America, and then finally moving to Korea. Like someone else said the first song she sang is "Black Happiness" and is a very powerful song. The MV for it does have the lyrics. I have cried listening to it. The guy whose voice is played towards the end of it is her father. I could talk a lot about the song, but I think it is better you guys check it out for yourself. The third song played is Payday, which appeared in the movie The Interview (the comedy about interviewing King Jong-Un), but Yoon Mi Rae never gave permission to Sony so she had to sue them. If it is shining like that, yeah, it is probably her own mic. Like Black Happiness, Memories is an old song. She wrote Memories when she was 21. She started out as a teenager in a group called Uptown. She would eventually go solo when the group first disbanded. The group would later reform and included another teenage artist named Jessica H.O. who would later go on to change her stage name to Jessi. Angel is an MFBTY song. Generally, for the slightly more ballad MFBTY songs, she will sing the chorus, which is why she only sang a little bit. You also heard a bit of Tiger JK rapping there. If you want more Tiger JK, I would check out his latest song Peace Love, or his Killing Verse. For MFBTY, Buckubucku, Bang Diggy Bang Bang Dream Catcher, Angel, or The Cure. The first three are more raps and the last two are more ballad raps. I know some others have suggested her ballads, for some raps, I would suggest Get It In or KawiBawiBo.

This video was awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We did just watch the Tiger JK dingo performance, so that should be up within a few days. That was amazing, I'm usually hit or miss on full rap songs, but I really like his style. It's crazy they illegally used one of her songs in a movie that was so popular. I definitely want to check out more of her singing just to round out my impression of her. I bet they like being a part of a small tight nit agency, you might miss out on promotion dollars but having that family atmosphere is prolly worth it

She was so good in the Red Lipstick song with Lee Hi that we had to check out more

black happiness is about the racism she experienced growing up as a half black in korea. one of the lines in the lyrics is about her trying to wash her skin pale with soap when she was a kid.
