He really was. I didn't like it when they put him on the spot by asking him about his sexuality/gender identity, but he handled it really well.

Dresses like a girl or a boy...don't care, he still looks gorgeous and an amazing singer and guitarist!

He does not dress like a girl, by the way, he dresses how he wishes to. Does every single person who happens to fall into the category of female dress like that? No. Just like a woman who wears jeans and trousers does NOT dress like a man.

But, those clothes are concidered female clothing. So yes, he does dress like a girl, but there's nothing wrong about that. And jeans and trousers are mostly neutral clothing, and not specifically made for a certain sex.

NaitsHDFTW being considered something does not make it so, that is the point. I still cannot believe in 2014 we have to explain that clothing is no longer gender specific yet every major department store segregates by gender

Neil Baker Actually, it's not just concidered female clothing, they ARE female clothing. And it's not just stores who segregate clothing like this, it's mostly everybody. Most people will look at a dress and associate it with females, and will look at a suit and associate that with males. It's just how it is, and it's not a problem. But like I said, there's nothing wrong with a man wearing a dress. (or woman wearing a suit).

Those women look low-key jealous how a guy looks prettier then them. Well I know I am. Yohio looks beautiful regardless of how he dresses❤️

I have so much respect for Yohio. He truly follows his heart and ain't afraid of what other people think. He's only 17 years old and is so mature. To all the people who call him gay and hate on him, do you have enough self-esteem to be able to handle a lot of hate, just because you do what you love to do? He is a really amazing guy and for those who doesn't see that, I feel very sad for. Also he is really cute and I adore him

I'm Swedish, Yohio is my idol and my hero. That boy has made me a proud swede.

I'm finally able to see the English version of this and I'm dying so hard from laughter at one part.When the interviewer asks about the fanbase and Yohio says females 15-25 (it's alot larger now) but when the interviewer says Do they know your not one of them? LMAO!!! Oh good lord.I'm sure everyone knows Yohio is male.Reguardless he's still my favorite :)

He deserves to be more popular here Japan.

Because people care more about making a spectacle out of a guy in a dress and makeup than they do about his actual music because it's "~shocking~" and "~weird~" for them to see, which is sad because he's a really talented singer who deserves to be recognized for his music as well as his appearance.

Nothing wrong with that. Swedish and Norwegian is so very alike. That is why they can speak to eachother. Norway and Sweden was a country once and we are really close, we are our neighbors (scandinavia). Just look a a map.

I know its 2021 but this was a kinda good interview but I really think he could talk more of his music because its really good music he makes it doesn't really matter if he wants to dress as a girl or anything in general we could clearly see he was uncomfortable with the question but really good interview.

God Yohio is so lovely, so easy to talk to, hope he stays like that, still can't believe he is only 17 though.

Thanks for english subtitles first. Then.... Yohio. Is....Perfect. I used to know he is handsome, and can speak english, swedish and japanese.... But, most of all he seems to be soooooo intelligent. I'm found of japan, and he gave some historical point of view (with the laws on clothes) that I didn't know before. He is good at history, make-up, guitar, clothing, 2 foreign languages, singing.... + he can stay calm and talk with so much confidence with the medias.... Many young people could loose the debate with journalists, without being able to say a word. Yohio ruled the conversation all along.... He's the perfect husband every girl could dream of....^_^

they ask him if its a difference being on a japanese talk show and a swedish he said yes, its a difference, here we can sit calm and talk about anything, in japan you don understand a thing because everything is going so fast. then he said its easier to remember japanese in japan because he has no one to speak japanaese with in sweden, he learned japanese at home, and some night courses. He comes from Sunsdvall wich is a small town so he really looked different from the others..
