Sure, the most fans of this unbelievable talented Icelandic singer with her angelic voice know her beautiful performance at the final of the Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 2009. It's just stunning - and of course Yohanna won the competition - who else ... ;o)
But the quality of the previous clips on KZread is unfortunately quite poor. This is very sad and I have tried to make it better. The result is this pretty good video. So watch it and enjoy it. Hope you like it ...

I know Fairy Tale won ESC 2009 with big lead but for me this should have won and I can’t help listening it even after 11 years, always in my mind

Yes, it was allowed in 2009 - as you can see and hear. Her both stunning entries in 2011 ("Nótt") and 2013 ("Þú") has Yohannas sung in her native language Icelandic - because of the rules of RÚV at this time. In my opinion a godsend, because the Icelandic language sounds uniquely beautiful ... :o)

When people tell me that their favourite Eurovision song is Fairytale, I tell them it's not even my favourite of its year's contest.
This arrangement is best though the sound could had been better.
Singing the same sing at each stage of a contest can kill you

David Miiro Bresson well they always preform in icelandic first but in the last episode of söngvakeppninni you can choose in what language you'll preform
A Eurovisión se le ha olvidado su propia identidad, debería ser el Festival de la "Canción" y no de los espectáculos (la coreografía, la vestimenta, el decorado ,los violines, son secundarios), pues debió ganar Islandia y por ventaja por encima de todos y de Noruega, y no al revés, la mejor canción y voz, es esta de Islandia, me rasgo mis vestidura de indignación .
It`s a shame she didn`t won Grand Prix, Rybaks voice was and is still awful :(
