No matter what the sentiment is, but Gadkari ji is peaking at what he is doing right now and should continue doing so for the next 10 years! His view for infrastructure and mobility for India is way beyond politics. He himself will not drift towards the PM post and keep doing his extraordinary job as highway and transport minister. Not a speculation but I can make a statement regarding the same!

Yogi is the CM of State of 240Million people. Handling one ministry is different from handling a most populous state as a CM and commanding all ministers to perform well in their ministries.

Abhijit sir is Bang on! Gadkari ji is a Technocrat. Gets the job done and execution/implementation is his trump card. Best person in the current job that he is in and keep India's infrastructure agenda going at the current pace!! Jaishankar ji is a career bureaucrat and is doing a stellar job in forwarding India's foreign policy agenda. Optics is highly important in the MEA role and I feel he is the best person suited for the task at hand till date. But, but, but, Yogi ji in my mind is a leader and has proven his leadership abilities in the superb handling of the affairs of a state like U.P. Think of it this way, he is already leading 240 million plus people in what is a very effective tenure. The post of the PM would be best suited for him as it would be a mere extension of his existing role that he is performing at a 10/10 peak level!

Unfortunately, in India popularity trumps everything else so I expect yogi to be ahead of gadkari for the nest PM face, but I do think the way Yogi has handled UP in the past few years, he would handle the country well.

Although popularity can be achieved easily these days, if the cards are played right as evident from Vivek ramaswamy situation where he became as popular as Trump in less than a year.. Also I know and am really glad about what Yogi is doing for UP, infact he changed the narrative of UP from being the Texas of India to one of the fastest growing state of India which is unbelievable.. But whenever we talk about what are BJP's greatest achievement in the last 10 years, roads, transportation and Infrastructure will come on top, n we know who made it possible..

Nitin Gadkari deserves to be but he wont be unfortunately. Would wildly love to be wrong. He is extremely passionate about work, efficiency, hates bureaucracy, and not divisive despite being pro Hindutva. He is what India needs.

We got Dhoni in cricket similarly we got Modi in Government.. Just need a suitable person to carry that forward.

My thoughts as a Nagpur born Maharashtrian, and a big fan of Gadkari ji: A nation needs someone who can defend the nation and also take it forward. बचानेवाला और बढानेवाला. These two aren’t always guaranteed to be the same person. I see Yogiji as the person who can defend the nation, and Gadkariji as the person who can take it forward. In my dream scenario, Yogi ji will be the PM, with Home, Foreign, defense and finance ministers reporting to him. Gadkari ji will be deputy PM, with industry, trade, commerce, education, railways, power, communication, transport, aviation, highways, urban and housing development, agriculture type ministers reporting to him.

Yogi, bcoz that man managed to change the UP story, can you imagine that. UP which was famous for all sorts of wrong things is today the fastest growing economic state in India. I know he isn’t that great an orator in comparison to Mr Modi but he is brilliant. Ram Mandir will change the face of UP and the people of the state need to raise up to the occasion in terms of hospitality, cleanliness and service delivery. Infact the whole country needs to up their standards, be it Lakshadeep or Kerala or southern states.

What about unemployment, income gap, common people tax burden, 29%y-o-y tax increase. Facial health of country. Gdp is push by capital investment of govt not by business.

In my opinion Mr. Gadkari ji should be PM alongwith Mr.Jaishankar as Vice PM .Mr. Gadkari should be focusing on development and employment generation with his out of the box thinking and getting the work done as per his past record and Mr.Jaishankar should look into external affairs and also travel more as Vice PM so that gadkari ji will focus more for the development of the nation.

Yogi's unpredictability is exactly what the country cannot afford at this juncture. And he is too polarising. Like Mr. Chawda said, our country needs an effective administrator who can drive consistent economic growth (7.6% GDP growth as per RBI figures) for almost 3 decades to become a "developed nation" by 2050. And maintaining social stability is also key to that. In that sense, Mr. Gadkari is a more suitable candidate. After 2050, perhaps we could consider Mr. Adityanath (he still has age on his side after all and would also mature as a leader till then..)

And rumours are that Fadnavis is likely to be the next Union Finance Minister after the 2024 general election, so he is likely to gain experience in the inner circles of power at the center very soon.
