WHAT IS YOGANCE?
It’s not yoga, it,s not dance, it’s YOGANCE! YOGANCE is a yoga inspired class using techniques, elements of style and disciplines achieved within a professional dancers foundational practice. It focuses on correct alignment within the postures as well as fluid transitions that link breath to movement. This is where the transformative magic occurs within your practice. The breath becomes the music, the movement becomes our spirit dancing freely. We play with linear aligned exact movement such as in yoga and free form 360 degree movement like in dance.
The class is Advanced Beginner to Advanced level (basic yoga OR dance experience is required unless otherwise stated for specific class or beginner workshop). Modifications are given throughout but class moves at an intermediate level pace.
Choreography is incorporated making the practice creative, innovative, ever-changing and refreshing. Transitions are challenging and artful allowing the student to step out of their comfort zone and into their intuitive nature to push through and discover their full capabilities. YOGANCE mixes creativity with intelligent body work to build strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, mindfulness, determination, will, patience, self-love, self-truths and personal growth on and off the mat. It is a life changing practice like no other allowing the practitioner to find their own voice from within. BeYOUniquely beYOUtiful.

I'm in complete awe of you. The way you just seamlessly transition between poses without ever really stopping, the imaginative ways you get from one position to another, the calm and collected feeling that exudes from you right out of my laptop screen. I would LOVE to be able to attend a class or workshop from you, even just to be able to watch you in person. You're captivating.

Thanks so much for providing the name of this track! I heard it one time in my yoga class when we were in our ending savasana pose. I remember feeling so peaceful and it literally brought me to tears. Quick question though: I tried to looking this up on Spotify and none of the versions had strings (in addition to the keyboard). Do you know the name of this particular rendition? Also your movements are just so fluid, elegant, and beauuutiful! I love it so much. You are really inspiring me to pursue for journey in yoga.
