Now I understand where Minnesotans' cabin culture comes from. Moderland 🇳🇴!!

This is the epitome of the Norwegian cabin experience - or the way we like to portray/remember it. Modern cabins tend to come with all sorts of conveniences - like electricity, inlaid water, indoor WC, electrical heating, heated water and so on. ;) Plus for saunas, outdoor hot-tubs, walking distance to the nearest lake or beach. And most of us buy cabins LESS than five hours away - the idea is that you should be able to go there for the weekend. But the "cabin experience" is a whole culture, yes.

Im from the same country as Ylvis and i gotta say they are the funniest, yet talented artists out there. The use of satire + good music is just peak🔥 I recommend Massachussets, Jan Egeland and Stonehenge. Keep up the great work!

Great video. Looking forward to more Ylvis reactions. The "there's no such thing as bad weather - only bad kleather" refers to a Norwegian saying "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad cloths". If/when you react to the song Jan Egeland, you should know that Jan Egleland worked at UN and at the time the video was released they were in assembly. He knew nothing and was utterly surprised when during a session it was announced that they would watch a short video and then take a break. It was this Ylivs video.

Hehe...this sounds just like the cabin we have here in the woods of Norway. Haven't been there for over two years. It may be mot standing anymore. :D

A few years ago my friend showed me the video and I looked at her like this: 🤨 But yeah, she’s one of my best friends still and she’s my kind of weird and I actually love this kind of song

Love seeing non-Norwegians react to the line “There’s no thing as bad weather, only bad kleather”. The utter confusion is hilarious 😆 For those wondering, it’s a play on a famous norwegian saying that goes “Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær”, which rhymes and means “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only inadequate clothing” basically. But to keep the rhyming in english (and create a little inside joke for Norwegians), they substituted “clothes” with “kleather” (keeping the “kl” of “klær”).
