For the first episode of 'The New York Files', I chatted to New York rapper YL. We spoke in depth about his latest project 'Don't Feed The Pigeons' and the creative process behind it. Beyond this, we discussed the Chelsea-based artist's experiences of growing up in New York, his influences, travelling the world and the future of his music. It was a privilege to speak with YL and learn more about the man behind the art.

Tearz is a dope record that’s super evocative regardless even of what the verses convey. Something that I think could be leveled up even further moving forward. Love this album. I see immense potential for him & co. to become even more detail oriented. Arrogantly enough I see and pick up things that could level this whole style up beyond where it’s already achieved.
